Official Release of Research Findings
A series of investigations and research into the Origin of Variants is finally coming to a close. Over the course of several months, scientific evidence links the appearance and development of Variant abilities to a series of coinciding genetic, astronomical, and chemical effects. This announcement is to present the general findings of this research.
The comet Nibiru was hailed as the "End of Earth" or "Doomsday Comet" set to strike Earth in 2012. The comet's trajectory and arrival date coincided well with the end of the Ancient Mayan calandar and Nostradamus's predictions of the end of the world. As the comet did arrive on September 15th, 2012, it certainly did not strike the Earth. After the comet passed Earth, its trajectory and velocity resulted in the comet passing between the Earth and the Sun in November of 2012.
Simultaneously, record breaking solar flares peaked on November 13th, 2012, and due to the gravitation warping and arc shape of the flare, the light and radiation emissions took a few hours to reach Earth instead of the normal 8.4 minutes for sunlight to reach the planet surface. These solar flares collided with the comet Nibiru causing irradiated particulates to break off and fall to Earth.
It is already known that there are hot spots where Variants began appearing, and evidence shows a high correlation between these hot spots and holes in the ozone layer. Much of the pure solar radiation was absorbed and much of the particulates burned up in the atmosphere, but the areas of the globe under little to no ozone layers (holes in the ozone due to pollution and atmospheric radical reactions) were affected by the the radioactive comet pieces and radiation. The comet pieces/radiation altered a specific genetic variation preexisting in the Earth's population, causing the "activation" of Variant abilities.
This explains the placement and time of Variant occurrences, as well as the trend of the transition of genetic material through future generations. The genetic variation that makes "Variant Activation" possible explains why only some of the population in "Zero Ozone" areas was activated. While further analysis and research is being conducted, a great step has been made towards understanding an event that has changed the world forever.
