Universal Currency (UC): This is the universal currency that all other currencies can be compared to, and can even be used as a local currency. It can come in the form of coins, paper bills, or electronic currency.
1 UC = 1 US Dollar

Coin Currency: This is the currency that more medieval places might use. It comes in coins, obviously
100 copper = 1 tin
100 tin = 1 silver
100 silver = 1 gold
100 gold = 1 platinum
1k copper coins = 1 UC
10 tin coins = 1 UC
1 silver coin = 10 UC
1 gold coin = 1k UC
1 platinum coin = 100k UC
