[Delete] | From now on, all characters besides ancients and technology based characters will run on the following system. All characters who this applies to must have a skills list within their profile, and all characters skills will fall under the ranking rule, whether needing this system or not.
5 weak skills: These are the most basic, consuming little magic or energy, but not very powerful either
4 medium skills: Moderately powerful skills
3 strong skills: Very powerful, but also more draining
1 ultimate: This is a signature skill, a character's strongest skill or ability. It is highly draining, and often comes with a high backlash
barriers will work as the following
weak: blocks 4-5 weak skills, 1-2 medium, or 1 strong or ultimate skill.
Medium: 8-9 weak, 4-5 medium, 1-3 strong, or 1 ultimate
strong: 13-15 weak, 8-9 medium, 4-5 strong, 1 ultimate
ultimate: weak is nulled, 13-15 medium, 5-7 strong, 1-3 ultimate
if a barrier blocks a skill 2 ranks or higher above its level, it will shatter, and the user will take appropriate damage. As well, when a barrier is shattered, the user's magical energy is drained. When a barrier fades , it may not be used again for a number of user posts equal to four times the rank of the skill, or eight if it shatters |
