This planet's livlihood was built on slavery and suffering. Look around you? You fight amongst yourselves for the right to destroy peace! Not to secure it! You fight about unification- -you squabble and yell over who will be civilized first! *The voice grows maddening at this point* So I'll end it all! Defeated by their own super weapon the combined forces of Imperial, New Republic, GWAM and Independent ships this threat has been destroyed. However...the PLANT government was been utterly and completely destroyed leaving a power vacume on Tatooine. Let us remember that though this attack has been devistating..the threat of the DC remains. We can not allow this planet to divide, not after tonight. Not after we saw that can happened if we do not remain united. Over 4 million lives lost, Imperial, PLANT, New Republic, GWAM..entire colonies removed from existance in a flash of the eye.. I am requesting that all powers that remain on Tatooine prepare a committee meeting where rivalries will be put to the side and an Interm Government be instated until the clear and present danger of the D.C. and any other hostile forces is over. However that request shall be made formally at another time..for now let us remember the fallen peoples of PLANT who were taken before their time and now join other cultures of the past lost to time...
