This civic center will allow for all public events to be held there. All proceeds will goto the T.R.U.D. to be used in reurbanization efforts across the city. First of all, public buildings are usually constructed by the government. You say that your just here for your shiping resources and then you move in and just start building public buildings of behalf of the government. Yet, there´s no government on tatooine and you decide to just come in and slowly take over with your "civic programs" You also stated that the funds will go to help public programs. First of all, there´s none to begin with. Governments create public programs. Besides that, who´s in charge of this money? Normally, it would be the government, but yet again, we have no govenment so it would most likely go to the Tragolite Federation. Who´s there to make sure the money´s put into these programs? No one. They´ll decide how much goes into it and the remainding amout..well, your all smart enough to know what happens to that. We are a business. We make money from our collesium and we´re not afraid to hide it because it´s true. I also commend all the non profit defensive factions that don´t resort to lies to make themselves look perfect, such as the Mos Esiely Police Department and Ion Storm. If the Tragolite Federation, who´s primary reason to be here is their shipping business, decides to build this and drag you in with their "compassionate" promises, then believe it if you wish. They´ll just need govenment authority to put these programs into order. We all remember how the Federation ran this planet. If you want that, so be it....  ... Gregeory Reikson 3:22am, August 10, 2002 [Edit] [Delete] As it is known, Ion Storm was on the front line of the battle to free the planet from Tragolite control. Those days have passed. We will not allow any single faction to control Mos Eisley, directly or inderectly. While it may seem that Ion Storm and the Mos Eisley Police Department control the city, we are only here for the protection of the civilian population. Much as Shinra provides security to their assets, we provide security to Mos Eisley to the best of our ability. Ion Storm will not stand in the way of the civic center unless it is being used to fund a military operation against our planet. Ion Storm will also actively participate to improve this city. To clarify our plans, money raised by the civic center and the Shards Medical Center, will be used to establish better education programs, to feed the poor and to create low income housing. Unity is the key to rebuilding, and this is a step towards that goal. To the faction leaders, both military and corporate, I would like to arrange a meeting in the future.
