The jest of the matter in projects and developments appear to be this. Perhaps the construction of multiple land based colony's on the surface of tatooine to help colony citizens who wish to integrate into the life of tatooine.
And Security, because the political parties of the colony's fear the people of tatooine will hold some sort of spite towards them for the Duchy's actions.
So, you can look forward to perhaps vast hover train travel for new cities and new products.
