Thread for Concerning Mythos Index | New Thread | Reply | Close | Stick | Delete  Concerning Mythos Uncle Detde 8:29pm, May 29, 2010 [Edit] [Delete] Since apparently Kronos is now going into full crybaby mode to try and protest his treatment/death of his moding sith character I would like to point out a few things. 1. Mythos troops themselves brought the thermal detonators and the key to his demise, granted for some retarded reason they set their detonators to go off minutes rather than seconds after activation, which would really make them usless as a grenade since soldiers could simply move away or toss them back. Thermal detonators also have a strange radius effect, where once you reach the radius of said thermal detonator objects just past it are unharmed, he seems to have objected to James pulling Sam off of mythos back as the blast occured, however Mythos had made no statement about holding Sam on there, and rather was trying to get her off by stabbing at her with his saber. 2. From the start Mythos arrived with no story, no reasoning by hid his magic army which obviously contains a large number of magical disposable people. again no mention of funding how he obained these people, and better yet no base, no locations for us to strike back or to stop him. all we could do is sit (in mock fear) waiting for them to strike again, and again, and again. literally the only time hes in is to cause pain and chaos to us and then hes gone, and we cant track him. So tired of this i activated the thermal detonators on their belts, and after pointing out to Kronos one cannot simply magically disconnect them from their soldiers (I had activated them, leaving them on belts) and throw them 30 feet into the air he took the blast, he finally accepted, and in his own post acknowledged his own characters disintegration, obviously expecting to take sam with him. So in the fight and chat I might have acted and said things in ways that only comes from the sheer pissoffery I felt after dealing with this. I was frustrated at a badguy who has nowhere to strike, nothing to fight back with other than simply taking him out, and finally thats what I did. words might have bene less then exemploarary but I still stand by what I did, and feel that in the end, this is how it should be, Mythos is nothing more than a magic elf who craps soldiers and pisses gold or somthing, untraceable and doing nothing except harassing people, except when he wants to kill them, I finally did what any jedi would have done to a sith lord who only thinks slaughter/meyham and death, I fed him his own soldiers TD.   ScottOOC 10:03pm, May 29, 2010 [Edit] [Delete] http://pjj.cc/cin/register/dblog.php?a=1&from=2010-05-29%2016:46:19   AceOOC 3:08am, May 31, 2010 [Edit] [Delete] I have had a dislike for Kronos and his fashion of RPing for some time now. This is, to me, just confirmation for the rest of y'all. Time and again I've seen him mode, whine, cry, and generally make a butchery of RP. Yes I am not a daily in here playing the same nice and friendly rp and yes I will keep my ooc info to myself and a select few since well I keep it from being used ic.....Yes I took back the statement because you were right I didn't put it out there right. I have always taken damage when appropriate I have never fucked over someone else's story lines or called others insults that were unnecessary......SO YES MYTHOS IS DEAD and the Great Det killed him.....I don't have all day to sit online or all night so I do come in and rp when I have time.....NO one has ever said they are trying to track me down or any such thing.......If you did the next time I came back online I would have told that person if there method worked if it made good rp sense.......I am sorry that you people can't handle random trouble that isn't planned out in an open format multiuniverse rp chat........If you want to track down one of my characters send me a message, if you want to try and plan attacking me I will try and work with you to figure it out......I will not let you just instantly shoot me/kill me without good tactics I am not a just some jobber npc someone brings in to play with themselves....as far as the faction I used I have cleared it with zon and mike before I did anything so I guess I am just saying PISS OFF you killed him great job....but don't think I will be threatened or insulted out of here. I am and always will be a gentleman about things and will continue to leave my personal feelings and life out of my rp's since this is just a game.   Uncle Detde 8:12am, June 01, 2010 [Edit] [Delete] Actually we've tried to track them before, and yes you either gave us convenient run around dead ends or didn't respond and we gave up. I assumed you were going to cause some issue and try to get them to look into so I did this to post my end, so should it come to any sort of "review" it would be read. but also a second reason, because there are people who feel the same way about your roleplaying as i. I assumed wrong, but then im human and rarely ever right as it is. But whatever, you can sit on your high horse and belive you are perfect, and your roleplaying isn't doing anything wrong or making anythign wrong, ill piss off, and leave you to push everyone else away as it is. but id hope you would take this chance to realize you could improve your own roleplaying as is. If you want everyone to just piss off if they dont like it, your going to find out noone is around to play with you. And before you accuse me of being elitist or trying to sound great, im not. but I do know that if I had many people getting upset over me about roleplaying these things, I would rather change and work to be better and have fun, rather than become the outsider who thinks hes better. Edited 10:11am, June 01, 2010 by Uncle Detde, author.   Mythos 7:02pm, June 01, 2010 [Edit] [Delete] Det i have never claimed to be perfect actually I know I am far from it.  I gladly take constructive critacism but I do get annoyed when it is just, you are an asshole and I hate you.  I honestly don't remember u or any one but zon telling me they are trying to track me down.  Zon said he wanted to track down who bombed him and told me how he was doing it and I told him what he has found and why some methods didn't work and just the other day I let him know he found more information.  I do not always remember everything since I make up most of it on the fly as far as the story goes.  So remind me if I forgot.  I do not have set times to rp so yes it comes in sperts so I try to make them direct and quick so as to not tie up people in pause.  I also have been trying to play only villians so as to keep it unbiased and not pick one side over the other.  The people I was telling to piss off are the ones who take this personally as if it were real and not just a game.  I do not stress over this I have more than enough stress from work, home, family and inlaws.  I like to rp and make it exciting and not just the same old storylines.  But I don't give out ooc info and if asked about it ooc will keep it secret even if that means lieing but it is not personal unless u are acting as an admin and I trust u I like to keep it a surprise.  I will continue to play the bad guy or atleast the fringe character and if I go out of bounds let me know like a civilized adult and will adjust as needed and hope I can expect the same from others.  So det I don't think u are an elitist but just like u I ain't perfect.  If u want to know more of what my long term story is ask me next time u see me and let's see how it goes fair enough?     AceOOC 6:20pm, June 02, 2010 [Edit] [Delete] The issue here is not so much with your lack of time to RP (we understand that Real Life takes priority), but more with your way of doing it. Many of us have spent a long time (years, in some case) building up forces, making IC connections, ect ect. You, on the other hand, seem to magically appear with forces already in place. You also seem to have a penchant for calling damage, and disobeying the laws of physics. Add to this your complete lack of typing protocol (is it really so hard to capitalize words and use punctuation?), and we have a clusterfuck on our hands. And this is by no means a recent development. Note that I'm speaking here as a roleplayer, not as an admin. We're not trying to "threaten or insult you out of here", we're trying to get you to understand that by pulling crap like this, you take away from the fun of RPing for all involved. I also think that we'd be a lot more lenient if you showed signs of even attempting to improve your roleplaying, but instead, you just get mad at us when we try and tell you things.   Gorny 4:29am, July 18, 2010 [Edit] [Delete] wait a minute, so Mythos and Kronos are the same person, but instead of Kronos posting and saying "Mythos is dead", MYTHOS posts saying "I am dead". .... the character is meta-arguing?
