Scene opens with old footage of New Archers fall, then to numerous damaged starships slowly sliding into docks and injured Federation personnel being offloaded and treated by doctors, shortly followed by a woman’s voice. “Over three months since the fall of New Archer, New Republic forces seem finally ready to start striking back into the territory captured by the Goa’uld Thel, a parasitic species that tries to portray themselves as gods, immortal beings with divine powers.” Shot of Thel borrowed from his announcement of the capture of New Archer. “Although quick to honor the Treaty Of Naboo and come to the Federation’s aid, the Republics military buildup in response to Thel’s declaration of war has been slow, hampered mainly by the large number of independent governments in the area. Two main areas of buildup have been both Rodia and Ryloth but both are far enough away to make most operations around the occupied space lengthy. “Still new but quickly growing, the New Republic Marshalls have started a number of debates on many worlds, debates unlikely to end anytime soon.” Several still photos of beings with the Marshal uniform or badge doing various things from posing for the camera to escorting cuffed criminals past. “The Marshals are intended to help breach the gap between local planetary police forces, capturing fugitives that have jumped planet, in the past a method widely used because it was very rare that one planet would allow law enforcement officials of another to enter their system on the hunt for the fugitive.
