[Delete] | I´m tired of the mentality of this place. I don´t even know where to start, how about factions? What I´m tired of, is every faction being invincible. How they fix any faults found, even when they are unknown IC. I´m tired of the most powerful factions crying bullshit when they are matched. Most forces of the powerful factions were aquired from other factions, thus leaving past enemies of great strength, even if not on frequently today. I´m tired of individual fights having to be ´fair´. People expect to go toe for toe against a superior enemy on equal grounds. They expect the enemy to play their rules, god forbid the enemy kills the char when they are unable to defend themselves. People also expect IC agreements never to be broken, as if every character holds morals above everything else. This is directed at no one in general, it´s just venting and expression of views. |

[Delete] | I´ve tried to not make DC an "invincible" faction, (i.e: Their total lack of sensors that are worth shit). As to powerful factions crying bullshit, I havent actually fought another faction since the time that I nuked New Light´s shipyards. Granted, I did cry bullshit after that, but I´d like to think that I´ve matured at least a little since then : ) I cant really comment much on the individual chars, since I only have one, and he hasnt done jackshit yet..... |

[Delete] | I have to agree with mike on all this, It seems all the factions are large overly powerful groups with the best weapons and the finest technology. Sure they should have weapons better than normal civilians but why does everything have to be so powerful, and why does it seem it always causes arguments. Even factions like the jedi have problems, some people dont know what they are doing when the play the jedi, they think Jedi are invicible people of unstoppable power, but what I like about the Jedi is how they are very much human and have lots of limits. They are not sources of unlimited power, they cant do everything and they cant survive everything. One problem with this chat is in mixing all the thigns into one causes problems, its fun but then you got new technologies and species being put into the mix. I am kinda working on a page of jedi information, creating a force guide to help those who are ruing the Jedi, in hopes of fixing them. Perhaps the factions could get togeather, and work things out into making agreements and weakening their factions to more normal levels, working out what techs do what, maybe that will cut down on some of the bikering. |

[Delete] | DC has very good weapons systems, mainly, nuclear-armed weapons. Most of their ships are made from scraps, however, so hull integrity is questionable, as is engine power. And DC sensors are basically just souped up versions of WWII radar, so they are blind as hell. |

Only problem is, there´s always the one bastard who Won´t agree to shrink his faction, and then he wipes everyone out and takes over untill he gets bored with it. |

They were larger and using more advanced tech than any faction of the time. So BSingly large that if you use them to attack in force, don´t expect me to play fair, but rather by my full capabilities.
