[Delete] | A while ago we pushed for a forming of a planetary government but did not seem to get much support, so for the moment I think that idea should be put on the back burner and work on another juggested subject. the organization of the jedi and possible creation of a Council. We need the order and organization, then we can better aid the inhabitents of tatooine and protect ourselves from those who seek to destroy us. It will probly be some time before we can think about building any sort of buildings, but we can at least form the basis of our group and move on from there, once we get some funding we can then move forward. Therfore those interested in this please post the following. Name, Age, Raink, and then a list of jedi you think should make up the council. for now make this 5 or 6 people, starting with a Council Leader and a 2nd, then the rest of the council. then if you would like to give your suggestions on anything feel free, I would like to post several of my own questions such as, How big should the council be, should we maintin our ties with the Jedi of old and the New Jedi order or should we try to start anew, and if we choose to start anew do we keep the old name of Jedi or go with somthing new.

[Delete] | I'm not a jedi, far from it. But I don't think you should keep the old name of the jedi if you mean what I think you mean.People have lost trustith the jedi, you must regain it. Make a new, Not just people only interested in the force. You get too interested in anything, no matter how good that thing is, you lose the sight of what you wanted to do. To only be interested in the force you might do many thing or a few things you might regret. But as I said, I am no Jedi so do as you wish. |

I like the name Jedi but its history is soiled from the propaganda of the darksiders and the empire, It will be a long prosses to remove the dark stains, though I would be up to it just as much as the next. |

[Delete] | I must apologize, but I do feel the need to add some negative feedback. While in theory a jedi council is a wonderful idea, I do not believe it would work on this planet. In order for it be effective, leadership would have to be centralized. Yet in turn, that would make them an easy target, along with those who wish to learn. Also, it would provide greater power, thus increasing the chance of corruption. As you look to the future, you must always learn from the past. I believe that in the long run, the gain simply does not outweigh the risks. I thank you for your time. May the force be with you. |

[Delete] | Corruption only happens to those who let it, A good council of Jedi will not allow themselves to be corrupted, as was most councils capable of doing. If we do build a praxium or an Academy, then we will be making ourselves more of a threat, right now we are just trying to link the jedi togeather in some way. builing a praxium or academy will require a secure location either unknown or very well protected. |

[Delete] | Months ago when I first brought up the idea, Master Aries had the idea of not just an academy but a home. A home for those who have no homes or a home for those who just need a place for the night. I do not know whether there should be different complexes for the two different 'places'. But I think his idea is the best one yet, to have both. Whether or not you listen, is up to you.

[Delete] | Thank you, I did like that idea myself, but it has been brought up several times that building somthing might make us bigger targets, so first step I think would be to organize the jedi, second we then get support among the populous and other factions so that we can build the buildings and have them be protected by others, that way if the sith were wanting to hurt us they would have to face sevearl factions, not only the Jedi. I realize that organizing a council is dearly needed, somthing to get the jedi working more togeather than they do now, and someway to start gaining funds and other such nesessities. |

If we wish to remain organized and avoid being constant targets to some people, we need allies, though that is somthing Im willing to thinka bout later, for now I just want to organize the jedi into a group that will be able to assist the population and factions that also wish to work for the betterment of Tatooine and its civilians. |

[Delete] | I recently had a discussion with the Chancellor of the New Republic. They want the jedi to build a place on Coruscant, and in fact were preparing to rebuild the Old Jedi Temple from the days of the old republic. I told them I would have to talk it over with the others, and to halt construction. What are your guyses imputs? Corsucant is rather far from Tatooine, meaning if we did we might have to move the Jedi Council there, and to tell the truth I prefer Tatooine to that overgrown city. Also it would make things a little difficult when trying to meet with other factions, I suppose the New Republic would want to try to get us to become some sort of protectorate as the Old Jedi Did in the days of the Old Republic. I have an idea for a possiblity of having three diffrent locations, though i dont wish to speak of them here because it would be best to keep them secret. If this works then maybe we can just split the jedi into the three areas, and we could hold council meetings via the holonet. That way we will not be so voulnerable and those who would nto wish to go to Coruscant would not have too. I also think we should avoid all ties witht he New Republic other than an allinace, that way we might be able to keep alliance options open for other factions. Apprently the Tragolite Federation like the idea of the jedi council, though Im not sure of them, does anyone have any experience with them and can tell me what they are like? |

[Delete] | In the days of old, the Tragolite Federation was one of the first few factions to set up a government on tatooine. In the beginning, their laws seemed fair and reasonable. As time progressed, they passed more and more laws, controling the people's rights and having full power. In the end, the people of Tatooine rebelled against the Tragolite Federation which was known as the Great Riot. In the end, after much bloodshed, the tragolites were driven off planet. There are still even a few vetrans of that rebellion that are still alive today. If you find them, I'm sure they can provide you excellent feedback on the times back then.
Just recently, they have returned. Strangely, they were only a small shipping business. This small shipping business is now getting involved in politics. This shipping business also defeated a warlord and is trying to build an arms storage facility inside the city limits.

[Delete] | This seems like a most brilliant idea. I stand behind you in it all the way, James. Though I'm sure the construction of such a temple will be all to arduous, but I'm sure it can be done. Hopefully this council and temple is the one thing that can finally restrain those capricious darksiders and their chattel. Though I'm sure this idea is a boon to many of, not only Mos Eisley and Tattooine, but hopefully a council's influence may reach as far to protect the very edges of the universe.

I do believe that this council should be comprised of individuals who are experienced in the roleplaying realm as Jedi. I believe the above list to be adequate and it is my opinion that others should be appointed to the council as the founding members see fit.
