The messanger she had sent to still had not returned, she had no idea whether Aisha had survived Soth's attack. Food was begining to run short, tempers even shorter. she needed to get them to safety as soon as humanly possible. slipping out of her chair, she moves to sit softly on the bed, brushing a lock of his hair out of his eyes..waving the healer out of the room, she lays down beside Corell, cuddling close as she dared.. laying her head down on his arm, she begins to cry, just silent tears running down her face, soaking the bit of blanket covering him* Corell, my love, please come back to me. As the elven sword smith reached for some of it to start melting the chunk rolled off of the pile and landed at his feet. Picking it up, the smith looked it over carefully ‘No flaws” Nothing else was in it. It was the perfect sized piece needed to create the weapon he had in mind. He placed it in the smelting pot and moved it into the fire. Working the bellows to keep the fire hot, he did not see the blue glow coming from inside the pot. He had spent what felt like years coming up with the design: Straight as an arrow, with only a single edge. The handle was a comfortable grip that fit even the delicate hand of his wife (It would be a gift fit for royalty.) He would etch into the blade an animal he had been dreaming of lately. He didn’t think animals like this one existed beyond the realm of sleep. He had seen it many times – leaping over a snow-covered tree that had fallen. It had spoken to him, ‘Ailosacath’ (snow leopard) and dropped a rock at his feet. Reliving the dream he realized that the piece of Mithral he had just begun to melt resembled the rock in his dream. Startled, he looked at the pot just in time to see the last of the blue light fade away. Rubbing his eyes he decided that he was seeing things..
