The Shang Warriors are an independent order which unites skilled fighters of all nationalities and genders. There are NO MAGIC USERS among them and also no nobles. The warriors are chosen at a very young age and brought to Shang where they learn the fighting skills. This includes lots of training. When they have finished their education they take on the name of an animal or even mythical creature, but only the very best claim the name of such beings like the Dragon or the Unicorn.

Shang Warriors spend most of their live travelling, although some have also been known to be extraordinarily sedentary, like the Wildcat or the Horse, who have both been known to live at the royal palace in Corus for several years helping training the pages.

*Elves are not Shang warriors.

Why? Because the Elves are almost isolationists, and a Shang warrior is picked in very early childhood (think how jedi are picked in the old order, in early childhood). Since this is the case, Shang masters, who are human, have no access to the elven children. Also Elves, by nature, are more often endowed with magical abilities. And no magic users are allowed in the Order of Shang.

*Shang do not kill unless they HAVE to.

Why? Part of the Code that they were raised with. They're not peace-preaching ninnies all the time, no. They're trained to kill and are totally ready to do it... but they're just very much aware of the situation, and don't kill when it's not necessary.

*The title your Shang has is the title given to them by their Master.

Why? Because you don't get to judge how good you are, your Master does. Please talk to me about the title you would like them to have.

*Max limit of 2 Shang Warriors per normal registered player.

Why? Because the Shang are a rare group. They are rarely seen. I'm going to judge them strictly, and no one is going to be allowed to have two High-Level (mythical-creature named) Shang warriors.

*Shang are well-trained in the use of weapons, but not elite in weapons proficiency.

Why? They're martial artists in the purist sense: they are deadliest without weapons. So they don't get to be the best at using weapons, too, sorry.

*Shang warriors are short lived.

Why? No human body can live long with the kind of stuff that rigorous martial artists put their bodies through. They're considered epic if they make it into their forties. But most barely make it into their thirties before they die through some way or another. So no 65 year old, or older, Shang Warriors. They'd be dead.
