History
Unlike most teens, Victor was never born. He was created. The super-villain Ultron having suffered defeat at the hands of the West-Coast Avengers found his remains scattered in an L.A. junkyard. A young Marianella Mancha was unfortunate enough to stumble across his remains. Ultron struck a deal with the woman, in return for her services in recovering the parts for a new body he would give her that which she could not conceive herself, a child. Using the woman's DNA, Ultron created a cybernetic being infused with human DNA. In time, the construct's cybernetic parts would grow to be indistinguishable from it's biological ones. So Victor began life. Breathing his first as a teenager, Ultron programmed Victor with all the memories of a happy childhood. But within this programming he had worked in his own nefarious ends as well. A sleeper program was built into him, that would cause him to travel to New York on his 21st birthday. Upon encountering his first super-powered being, his own powers would emerge into his control.
What Ultron had not planned on, was the Runaways...

After meeting Chase, Nico, Karolina, Molly and Gert, Victor's powers emerged as he defended himself from the other teens. They had sought him out after Gert's future self traveled back to warn them all of Victorious and his dark heritage. It was not long before Ultron learned of his son's emergence, and the Runaway's interference. He traveled to Los Angeles to find Victor, and to erase the boy's mother and his memory. But it was Marianella's death which helped Victor to tear himself from Ultron's control and ultimately led to Ultron's defeat. For the Runaways it was a bitter victory... for Ultron, a mere setback.Finding himself now an orphan, Victor was taken in by the Runaways. Staying with them in the Hostel, while he was at first met with heavy cynicism and scrutiny by some of the members, his help in tackling down various d-list super villains and ultimately his help in stopping the second incarnation of The Pride earned him the full trust of his friends. At least, that's what he hopes.
Gert's untimely death, however, took a heavy toll on each of them as they tried to continue with their lives.
Not soon after the friend and ally to the Runaway's, Cloak, brought another wayward runaway into the Hostel. The daughter of the anti-mutant activist leader, Reverend Price. Kairi. The new addition seemed to be at least for the time a healthy distraction from the loss the Gertrude. And for a time, things had begun to return to normal around the Hostel.
Until recently, Victor decided to show off. Noticing a robbery in progress at the Runaway's preferred Circle K, Victor decided to try and stop it on his own... things went from bad, to worse, and in the end the gas station went up like napalm. Too embarrassed to return to the Hostel, Victor ran... until he came across the tag-marks of the Red Skull. Deciding he could redeem himself to his friend by uncovering the new gang that was springing up, he talked his way into a membership... the only initial snag, Kairi had followed him. After some fast talking, the two were soon on an airplane to New York where they not only uncovered the fact that Victor's father was behind the Red Skull Army but also ran into the Avengers which brought Victor face to face with his Grandfather, Henry Pym.
Now, Victor finds himself inside a SHIELD Safe house in New York faced with the difficult decision of revealing himself to his estranged grandfather while desperately trying to contact the Runaways for help.
