Inventory: Owen carries the usual trappings of a doctor, a few basic medical suplies for when he's off the ship, and when he's on a mission, he'll carry a DL-44 Blaster and a lightsaber he swiped off of a former master of his who was a collector of rare weapons.

History: Owen was born into slavery on a planet in the Outer Rim, and, from the time he was born, he was bounced around from master to master. Among his many owners was a wealthy doctor who had no qualms about owning other people. Owen spent all of his time around the doctor, learning what he could by watching him work, and then sneaking off when he was asleep to study from his owner's many medical books. When the old Doctor died, he was sold off to a collector of rare weapons, and thats when Owen got his hands on a lightsaber. He was sold shortly after this, and, even though he had tried to hide the saber with him, hoping to keep it as a way he would be able to use it to win get his freedom. This didn't work however, and he it was confiscated by his new master, a shop owner dealing in ship parts. It was in this time that Owen met his fiance, Sarah. She was a fellow slave, working in the shop for his master. They hit it off quickly, and soon fell in love with each other. But, since they were slaves, they could not marry. One day though, Owen's fate would change forever when Captain Jack Harkness came into the shop. After speaking with Harkness, it was decided that Owen and Sarah were to be freed. But, tragedy struck when the explosive device designed to stop Sarah from escaping detonated, causing her to die in Owen's arms. Owen hated himself for the longest time, throwing himself into casual sex and alcohol in his adventures on the Tardis, acting as Medical Officer onboard the ship.. In his time spent in bars, which was considerable, Owen was drinking with a Jedi who realized that Owen was strong in the Force. Before Owen was too drunk, he was able to soak in a lesson on basic Force tricks, such as telekinesis and meditation. He hasn't bothered to further his abilities, instead, he has used the abilities to score with loose women in taverns across the galaxy. He is still serving as Medical Officer, and whatever else the Captain needs him to do on missions.
