Drax was a man born on Coruscant and given the best schooling, having high marks in numbers and strategy, he eventually gained a job with the Republic Intelligence Division, at first overseeing operations for the anti-spy branch, until the missions were seen as failure and he dissolved the anti-spy branch and all their resources were absorbed back into regular operations of the Republic Intel. Drax was also given the title of Director of Statistics for Intel, and he was able to create many missions where the Republic benefitted from the outcome. Eventually, he was given a mission of scouting the Wild Regions of Space, to which he left, and stayed for many years until he was recalled by the head of Republic Intel and replaced the head when he retired.
