Physical Description: Tall with an athletic build and a mop of brown hair on the top of his head.
History: Cassus was born on Corellia to a somewhat wealthy ship dealer, he sailed through life with little to no knowledge that he was force sensitive, even though he did have "feelings" that helped keep him out of danger. When he was 10, he was discovered by Master Qui-Hal Andric who needed some new ship parts, and he was taken to Yavin IV, where he began his training under him. Upon the destruction of the temple on Yavin IV, Cassus fled to Bespin, where he took refuge on Cloud City, hoping to regroup with other lost Jedi. This is where Cassus D'Kai met Jair Karredo, and rescued him from the clutches of an Imperial Inquisitor. From there, Cassus accompanied Jair to Ossus, where he joined the Jedi Starfighter Corps and rose to the rank of Captain. Things progressed peacefully, until a Darksider named Void showed up. With the the threat arriving on the Jedi's doorstep, Cassus chose to safeguard any Jedi not already evacuated by staying behind. There, with the temple empty behind him, he faced Void in single combat, the fight ending with Cassus a quadruple amputee and forced to breathe through a machine. He spent many weaks recuperating yet again on Bespin, where Jair Karredo's son, Kaden, rescued him and brought him to the hospital in Cloud City. After many weeks of recuperating and a few mechanical appendages along with a special lung pacemaker deep in his chest, he went back to the Jedi, who were on the Jedi-controlled Interdictor Cruiser named "The Peacekeeper." After the Void incident, the Jedi eventually came back to the Temple. Again, things continued peacefully until Cassus was sent to deal with an Imperial experiment by the name of Ruin. Cassus fought valiantly, fighting Ruin into a weakened state before finally losing his energy as Sileen Tenlae joined the fight and finished Ruin off. Cassus has now returned to Ossus, serving in the Starfighter Corps and occasionally substitute teaching in the Youngling class.
