Description

Ryma is a tall, long-legged, thin woman, standing just shy of six foot when barefoot. Despite her very slender frame, she is quite strong, physically and her frame is well toned yet shapely and feminine. She has a love for dresses in varying dark colors, and can almost always be seen dressed in a long one that reaches mid-shin or longer, usually with flowing skirts or a slit up the left leg to allow for freedom of movement should she find herself in battle. She tends top wear knee-high boots with with a wide, three-inch heel to help accentuate her height and figure. When she is armed, She wears a thick black leather belt about her waist that is really a holster and sheath for her large assortment of knives and throwing blades. Along the back of each of her forearms, in a pair of burnished metal sheathing bracers, Ryma wore her signature Long-Daggers. With the positioning of the blades around her abdomen and across her arms, they acted as armor when she was not dressed in full battle attire. Ryma also owns an exotic three-section staff fitted with a hook and spearhead at each end. The weapon, when laid out flat, spans about nine-and-a-half feet from tip to tip and is made up of light-weight but durable dark-cherry wood with the blades being composed of blue-tinged mithral. While the weapon is not indestructible, it does have the ability to regenerate itself if damaged, as well as return to the hands of its owner at her whim.

Being an Aujifram, Ryma has Milk White skin dotted with freckles that are Lilac and Blue-Gray. There is a birthmark of a very large, symmetrical freckle across the bridge of her nose, which she calls a Reindeer Saddle. Atop her head, she has very long, Deep Red hair nearly the color of blood, though now, since her encounter with and prolong possession by Infinity/Selinde, Ryma dies it from the Stark White it permanently is now. She tends to style it in many different fashions, but her favorite style is in in micro-braids with the ends knotted into little nooselets.

In her true Clauresian form, she has slightly elongated, fang-like canines and talon-like fingernails and toenails. She also sports a pair of Light Gray, feathered wings which she can retract into her back to become a pair if blue-gray wind tattoos. Over the years and battles, she has acquired a great number of scars and slashes and burns over her body, particularly her arms and torso. The greatest of these are chafe-marks on her wrists and ankles from the captivity she had endured from the time she was a child up into her low two-hundreds, a set of puncture marks from a dragon's bite that encompasses her entire torso in both the front and the back, and a long stab-wound from where she had been impaled all the way into her abdomen and out through her back a few inches left of her spine by a wide spear. The wounds are all fully healed and she has full range of mobility in her extremities and torso, but the deep scars remain as a permanent reminder of her past on Spyridon.

History/Background

Born at Claure Castle in the Kingdom of Shollis, Ryma-Elin was the second child of King-General Bandus and and Queen-Consort Angela Schol, and the older of a set of fraternal twins by 7 minutes. While her brother, Rulin-Ylatz, came out as Pure-blood Claurefram, She was born an Aujifram. At first, her parents were going to kill her, but due to the frailty and high likelihood of her younger brother's death in infancy, they decided to allow her to live, but was given to a slave to nurse and raise until she could be collared and forced into servitude as a future assassin, any record of her family name or circumstance of her birth stricken from the histories. And, it would have remained that way had she not shown herself to be an exceptional Psionist among her peers. <>From a very young age, she was abused and shackled and chained up and indoctrinated to believe that she and her fellow Aujifram were of an inferior, flawed race, and that only the grace of the King-General allowed them to live. As such, they owned him their complete obedience and fealty as expendable assassins. So, When the King-General took personal notice of her, she was elated to serve and become his personal slave. It was then that he told her of her heritage and convinced her that her now-dead mother had been the one to send her away, and that he had been against it, but that Angela had been inconsolable and refused to look at let alone feed her. It was with this lie that he bound her to him. A loyal and devotedly loving killing machine for him to use and point as he wished. His own personal Bodyguard and Assassin who would never betray him.

Harsh as the training was, she was determined to become the strongest and best Psion as she could be, welcoming the abuse and beatings, the long and exhausting hours of harsh lessons and forced practice upon some of the Aujiframs she had grown up with. She killed and mutilated indiscriminately for him for over two hundred years Until the day it was discovered that her little brother, long thought dead by everyone was accidentally found via the scrying of an Elven mage-slave. He was apparently alive and thriving on another world. One that the mage-slaves had learned how to reach via an ancient portal.

Due to overpopulation, Claueris Major, also called Zeta world, was slowly becoming uninhabitable. The discovery of this world and a means to reach it seemed like providence to Bandus. Gathering up an army of two hundred fifty thousand of his strongest Claurefram warriors, five hundred thousand Human and Elf slaves, half the worlds population Dylagefram, and the full contingent of Aujifram assassins including Ryma, Bandus marched his forces through the portal to try and conquer this new world, Spyridon, and commandeer it for his people to help alleviate the population strain on their home. He left Kaliban, his most trusted Under-King and General, in charge as regent until his return.

Freshly arrived upon Spyridon, on the Seridian Peninsula, Ryma was given her first solo task. She was sent by Bandus to kill her little brother, Rulin, whom was now going by his adoptive name, Cid. It was a test for them both. Bandus wished to know just how strong his once-frail youngest son had become, as well as test Ryma's resolve and resourcefulness when it came to assassinating a brother that was wholly unknown to her.

While she was able to find him easily, He was older now than she was by a good deal, and had done something unheard of among Claurefram. He had not only learned, but mastered the arcane arts, and was a full-fledged magic-user atop his overwhelming skill with the blade. They battled to a stalemate. However, he was not alone. And, when his friends came to his aid, she was forced to flee, failing for the first time to successfully kill her target.

Having been severely punished for her failure, she vowed to hunt down and kill Cid. Leaving behind her people, she set off to gather more strength and knowledge on her older little brother and his life here upon Spyridon. During this time, She managed to warp and twist the mind of Cid's second-born son, Aureulin, turning him against his family and driving him insane with blood-lust. She also, unbeknownst to any save herself and the hunter, was responsible for the death of Cid's wife Caroline, though most still believe it was an innocent and horrible hunting accident.

In order to do best learn about Cid and his family, she took up residence at the Silver Raven Inn, a place he was known to frequent. It was here that she had her first run-in with a dragon. As expected, it did not go well. She was nearly bitten in half and now bears dagger-like scars around her torso from when the teeth sank "shallowly" into her flesh. As this was a major injury and quite traumatizing, it took her months to recuperate, and to this day, she still has Dracophobia.
