Power(s): Energy Absorption: Much like her father, Opal can, either passively or purposely, absorb cosmic energy from her environment.

Plasma Constructs/Discharge: Unlike her father, Opal doesn't emit the energy she's absorbed in the form of blasts. She, instead, forms it into claws on her fingers that are similar to Psylocke's ability to form a psychic knife. She can effectively shock people when she digs into them with her 'claws.' When her power is in use her face takes on a feral nature and her eyes seem to glow blue.

Brief History: The details surrounding her birth aren't something her father, Alex Summers, ever disclosed to her. She still has no idea who her mother is or was or whatever happened to her and she's very bitter about it. She took it out on her father when she was younger but eventually she started to behave better because it was demanded of her. She attended the Institute for several years and graduated top of her class, early, having skipped a few grads. At the age of 18 she's set to finish uni sometime this year with a double major in politics and psychology.
