Power(s): Black Bolt's primary superhuman ability is the power to harness electrons. The speech center of his brain contains a unique organic mechanism that's able to generate an unknown particle that interacts with the electrons he absorbs to create certain phenomena that are determined by his mental control.

Quasi-Sonic Voice: The organic mechanism that allows him to generate and manipulate that particles that he controls is directly stimulated by the speech center of his brain and as a result whenever he activates the speech center of his brain, it causes him to release his powers. The electrons he harnesses are transferred to his vocal chords causing him to release a massive shockwave of sonic vibrations and concussive force. He can control the force of these shockwaves by the volume of his own voice with the most powerful form being a scream, said to be capable of level mountains or buildings.

Augmented Attilanian Physiology: Like all members of the Attilanian race, Black Bolt possesses a supherhuman physiology affording him physical prowess beyond the limits of natural human achievement. However, even amongst Attilanians, Black Bolt's physical prowess is greater stilll, having been exposed to the Terrigen Mists while still in embryo.

-Musculature Excitation: By harnessing the electrons he commands, he can excite the cells within his muscles allowing him to enhance his physical abilities to a greater extent for a short period of time placing him near or on the upper levels of superhuman strength.

-The Master Blow: By concentrating the muscular excitation to a finite point of a single limb, he can release a powerful strike that is known as the Master Blow. However, after the release of the energy expenture the energy becomes unstable making it harder to control and thus weakens any subsequent use of the ability.

Energy Projection and Manipulation: Black Bolt possesses the ability to absorb, redirect and project energy by harnessing the particles through the focii of his hands, arms, or the antennae he bears on his brow. In this way he can create powerful concussive blasts that are a smaller more controlled version of his Voice.

-Electon Field: By projecting the particles outward around his body he can excite the electrons he projects into a defensive force field to protect himself or others. He can also control the formation of these fields to solidify them into platforms that can be traveled upon. He can use this field to disrupt electrical signals, jamming radio transmitters or electrical systems.

Anti-Gravitational Flight: Black Bolt can also harness the unknown particles his brain generates to interact with electrons to create anti-gravitons that enable him to defy gravity. By emitting a jet of rapidly moving particle / electron interaction by-product while enveloped by anti-gravitons, Black Bolt has been shown to fly faster than hypersonic speeds for a period of 10 hours, and to fly beyond escape velocity. The anti-graviton field also serves to protect Black Bolt from the detrimental effects of rapid movement through the atmosphere although it's not needed.

Telepathic Field: The particles that interact within the speech center of his brain also interact with his neural processes affording him a degre of psychic resistance and limited telepathic communication, primarily with those whom he feels a strong bond with.

Body Language Mastery: Due to his inability to speak without risking possible massive destrction, he has undergone rigourous study in learning the subtleties of body langue. In this measure, he is able to communicate with even subtle shifts of his person. The low-level telepathy he seems to generate might also aid in how others are able to understand these subtle gestures. By extension of his understanding of the language of the body, he is able to read the bodies of others, allowing him to understand their moods and thoughts without speech. In combat, this talent is a vital asset of his arsenal.

Brief History: Amadeus Exilus was born into the lineage of Royalty, his father the former King of Attilan and a prominent member of the Ministry of Science and Technology. While his mother was pregnant with him, she came in contact with the Terrigen Mists exposing the growin embryo to its effects while unaware of her pregnancy. This exposure to the Mists at this stage of his development radically altered his physiology making him a superior physical specimen even among the other Attilanians. However, it also granted him powers that a small infant was unable to control. As a result, he was raised in isolation in a sound-proof chamber that could contain the out burst of his scream. His only interactions with other living people were contained beyond the surface of a sound proof glass. He was left to the care of Alpha Primitives as his "Nannies" as they were viewed expendable to the dangers he posed. This fostered in him a fondness for the Alphas and a desire to see them liberated. They were Children of Attilan as much as he.

His only other companions were the other children of the Royal Houses. He remained in isolation until he was nineteen where he would leave the isolation and begin the work to becoming the next king of Attilan. He would take the throne of Attilan at the age of twenty-four. In the years since, a revolution amongst the Alpha Primitives has grown and his policies pushed to make the Alphas recognized as full citizens of Attilan have stirred resentment among the Council. A failed assassination attempt has forced Black Bolt to flee to NeoX with his allies.
