The force of the blast is generally likened to being barreled into by an automobile or struck by a wrecking ball in how one feels after it strikes. However, the physical damage itself is not near as much as either eventuality, generally it doesn't even break any bones and in most occurences where a bone is broken by the blast it is generally result of them striking a wall or other object after the blow rather then from the blow itself. On general principal he takes to channeling the beams through his hands and has been known to channel the force of the bursts through the crystal on the center of his forehead. Along with the physical force, he can also channel the beams into psychic assaults. While the psychic attacks still have a concussive impact, the primary damage is dealt to the psyche with something of an assault feeling like a sudden battering ram into the brain. The attacks can be increased by focusing two of the beams into one strike. In these cases the physical force is generally enough to actually break bones and the psychic assault is generally considered more like having one's mind struck by a speeding car. Invisibility/Undetectability: Able to render himself invisible to the classic conventional senses as well as invisible to psychic detection when he desires. However, when he is in this state, his other abilities are inaccessible. He can also achieve invisibility in a physical state but has a harder time hiding himself from psychic searches. While someone not actively searching for his psychic pressence would probably not notice, if they looked for it they would find the faint hint of it. Mind Control: Like Nathan Essex before him, LeCroft is also able to inflict his will on another's mind. However, unlike Essex, he does not require physical contact to take control of another's mind. He can press his will into another's mind but unlike Essex, it's more readily resistable. The effects however can be increased by channeling the mind control into a conduit, such as his voice which is his perfered method. Genius: While not a psionic capabilitiy, it is still a power very much of the mind. Mr. Sinister posses a heightened intellect (the earliest incarantion of his mutation) that is the core foundation of his psionic abilities. This genius has shown itself as Mr. Sinister has grown by analyzing his own unique mutation, by his study of genetics and physiology, making him both a gifted scientist and doctor, as well as his study of psychology which he uses to analyze and manipulate his subjects to his ends. Manifest Construct: LeCroft, existing without a physical body in such a way can temporarily construct a physical form for himself for a time. Shape-shifting: Existing without a physical body, he can alter his appearance to those he appears in front of. As well, when he constructs a manifest for himself, their structure is under his command and he can alter it as he desires. However, he can only do a physical manifestation. So where he could take the appearance of Professor X, he would not have his powers as a result.: Peak Prowess: Due to his ability to alter the nature of his body, he is constantly in peak physical form.. His strength, speed, and agility are all phenomonal displays. While he could not heft a car above his head and hurl it at a foe, he most certainly could rip the car door from its frame. While he could not circle the earth in moments, he could certainly give any Olympian track star a run for his Gold. And while he could not scale a building on toes and fingers, he could put several professional gymnasts to shame. Resilience: Because of his augmented cellular structure, he is also very durable. This is not to say he isn't able to be harmed, only that he shows an impressive amount of fortitude in such cases.. This resilience extends beyond physical resilience. He has been known to withstand psychic assaults with the same skill and fortitude he has shown in resisting those of a physical nature. Psionic Doubles: Able to generate clones of himself of psionic energy, however these doubles have none of his capabilities but are only able to disappear from physical detection, not psychic, and the ability to project Psionic Bursts, though only the ones that attack the physical form. Bases: Mr. Sinister has certain labs where he works. These seem to have some telepathic link to Sinister himself and most of the metal seemes to be some kind of organic liquid metal that can change its shape, generally serving to shackle Sinister's subjects to the wall for his experiments to be executed. Brief History: Formerly known as Robert Lecroft, he was believed to have been dead for about the last hundred years or so. However, after he was tried for his barbaric experiments in France and accused of being either a vampire or evil sorcerer and burned at the stake as a result. His mind, or rather his conciousness remained in the world. Traversing the mindscape for the better half of the last century, in an attempt to understand what allowed his conciousness to remain intact without form he steadily began to learn the nature of his new existence. Eventually, he discovered he could construct a body for himself to exist physically, but the form would break down after three days. When such bodies did break down he could not construct a new one for two more days. However, when he chose to relinquish the form before the expiration of it, he could restore a new physical form after several hours instead. Content to roam the mindscape without physical form, his peace was disturbed when one Nathan Essex would take to modeling himself after LeCroft. As a result, LeCroft found himself drawn to watching the man who called himself Mr. Sinister. After a time, he decided the man was a fraud and must be ended. Assaulting Essex on one of his journeys into the mindscape. LeCroft was the victor and borrowed the face and identity of Nathan Essex and Mr. Sinister for his own purposes. New Reality History: In the new reality created, Essex never had a chance to take on the persona of Mr. Sinister or do any of the damage he did in the original reality. In the new reality LeCroft took a more focused approach to dealing with Essex and actively manipulated him in his work and dispersed of him once he was finished with him. This means that Essex wasn't able to destroy his work before LeCroft struck. Which means many of Essex's original projects are waiting for activation.
