Brief History:

When she was a child, her first birthday party was a huge celebration. The party drew aggressors, though, and a firebomb killed four people. Anya was critically injured and expected to die, with burns covering most of her body, but her body began to heal rapidly. It wasn't until years later, when she was present for another bombing that left her unscathed, that the full extent of her power was understood.
