Roboticized victims produce more black fluid and are programmed to spread the infection.

Backstory: Formerly a medical doctor, Aubin Carmels is the CEO of Lifeline Corporation, a wealthy and influential company he founded dedicated to the research and development of medical technology. He's known to rarely ever leave his office, often having dealings run through his secretaries or other remote means.

Roughly four years ago, his only child was reported as having been murdered by his wife, whom then committed suicide. After this occurred, he took a few weeks off from work in mourning, and many attribute this tragedy to being the reason Aubin Carmels became increasingly reclusive since then.

However, it has since be revealed that this was a lie. Aubin murdered his wife and fabricated her death, and attempted to do the same to his daughter, only for her to escape. His intentions were to prevent them from having any legal footing in Lifeline by killing them. In his obsession to maintain his position as CEO, he turned to Eggman for help in prolonging his lifespan indefinitely, by handing over his own employees for experimentation, and covering up their disappearances as causalities in the attacks on Station Square.

Using a prototype sample provided by Eggman, Aubin was roboticized by nanobots into a mosquito-like machine, and has subsequently been forced into servitude.
