Name: Aressa (Of the Royal Family of Souren)

Gender: Female

Race: Mutated wild Feline (Original species lost to time)

Class: Battle Sorceress (Frontline Spellcaster that complements melee and ranged combat training with magic)

Age: 69 (Appears to be in her early twenties)

Height: 6' 3”

Weight: 123 lbs.

Appearance and Notable Features: Aressa appears as a member of an indiscernible wildcat species with pink fur (a lighter pink belly), black tipped ears, feet, hands, and tail. She appears to have long blonde waist-length hair and her face is partially concealed by what looks like a black porcelain mask with an upside-down triangular design on the forehead. Peering through the eye-holes of the mask are a pair of faintly glowing solid red eyes. Her usual outfit consists of a black miniskirt and a short black sleeveless top that exposes the stomach. Both items of clothing share the upside-down triangular design of her mask. She also wears shoulder length groves and thigh-high stockings. Her feet are normally slid into a pair of knee-high ballet boots, the absurdly high heels forcing her to stand on her tip-toes.

Place of Origin: Souren

Currently Resides: Aressa has countless homes, lairs, and hideyholes spread throughout the multiverse. She has a thing for abandoned cabins in heavily wooded areas.

Family: Aressa has a rather extended family of psychopathic hedonists all carrying at least the tiniest amount of the original bloodline of the Royal family that was exiled to Souren. Her father was the former Patriarch of her family, but had been slain in a near apocalyptic showdown with those responsible for exiling the family. Her mother still lives and currently rules the Royal family in Souren. Her brother Reth, the new budding Patriarch sometimes accompanies her on her travels, but largely spends most of his time shirking his duties.

Occupation(s): Throughout her life, Aressa has only ever had one calling, and that's doing whatever she wants, whenever she wants, consequences be damned!

Powers/Abilities: Essence of the Fracture –

The magic of the Fracture is a living cosmic essence with its own will, ultimately serving only one master, which is the Fracture itself. However, this essence will lend itself to those that it happens to be quite fond of for reasons that remain mysterious to all but the Fracture. Some individuals have a deeper connection to the Fracture than others, and Aressa is a particularly potent user of its energies, and needs only to use her imagination and will to direct and shape it. Using this magic to produce different effects isn't like casting different spells. There are no schools or different elements. It's all the same stuff, just utilized in different ways. The following examples are just the most common uses Aressa devised for her magic, which more often than not manifests as a black mist-like substance.

Through the manipulation of the Fracture's essence, Aressa is able to bolster her physical abilities (Strength, reflexes, natural healing ability) as well as wielded weapons to give them greater effect (Or any effect on those not bothered heavily by standard blades or bullets).

One of her most favorite creative uses of her magic is making magical copies of herself. These are not simply shadows and can act autonomously, able to use any of her magic freely, although at reduced effect. She rarely, if ever personally interacts with others. Chances are, when you see Aressa, it's a magic clone.

When need be, Aressa can forcibly establish a connection to the Fracture within willing, or unwilling individuals, transforming such unfortunate souls into easily controlled combat oriented creatures known as Distorted. Distorted make up the bulk of Souren's armed forces, and serve as excellent minions when Aressa has need of such. Each Distorted is unique, given random supernatural features and abilities, although all share solid colored glowing eyes of varied color, and blackened skin/fur/hair.

Aressa also likes to manipulate the Fracture's essence to make herself float. When one wears ballet boots, it is best to not be on one's feet more than necessary. Well, toes.

Finally, one of the things that makes Aressa special in her world's society, is that she has a supernatural ability to utilize the connections the sentient reality known as the Fracture has to various worlds across the multiverse to instantaneously travel between worlds, or to different places on a given world. Wherever there is sentient thought and emotion, the Fracture has connections.

Weaknesses/Flaws: Aressa is a terribly vain creature (to the point of narcissism) with an absolutely monstrous ego and a psychological need for attention. She takes very little seriously and will more often than not underestimate an opponent. Although her magic offers some protection, she is not resilient to a particularly extraordinary degree.

Personality: Aressa is a free spirit with a long sadistic streak and a twisted and sometimes sick sense of humor. She's not afraid to do what she has to to get what she wants and will make an example of anyone that crosses her if need be. Despite her dark goals, she's rarely openly hostile, preferring to act friendly, playful, and even affectionate around those she meets. She is known to be a notorious flirt, teasing both males and females alike with relative impunity. Many times it's difficult to discern her true intentions as the majority of the time, she's simply looking to have some fun. She's an enigma, sometimes even to herself.

Hobbies/Interests: Aressa has many interests, such as fashion that includes the use of tight and shiny synthetic materials, such as latex, rubber, and PVC, the recreational use of restraints of various descriptions, carousing, and the collection and maintenance of various firearms and bladed weapons. She finds particular entertainment and joy in kidnapping individuals of the female sex she finds herself fond of and taking them to various lairs, hideouts, and safehouses for sessions of her own special brand of fun.

Dreams/Aspirations: Aressa has, for the most part achieved her dream, which is her role as an agent of the ultimate patron of her family, a sentient realm of existence known as the Fracture. Any aspirations she has revolves around maintaining this and getting better at it.

Backstory: Aressa is among one of the latest generations of a royal family of magic users exiled to a dark, inhospitable realm of existence after losing a long forgotten war. Even while she was still in her mother's womb, her family could sense the raw, untapped potential of their developing daughter. Starting at a young age, she was educated and trained extensively in the use of the Fracture's Essence, drawing out more and more of her potential with each difficult and sometimes even cruel lesson. Before reaching maturity, a ritual was performed where a special mask was permanently fused to her face, a process that all magically sensitive females of the family go through. These masks serve to help deepen their special conenction to the Fracture.

Throughout her life, Aressa's family simultaneously spoiled her and hardened her to the harshness of existence, molding her into a tyrant, a selfish destructive ruler that would carry on the Souren family's great legacy, which had been skewed and twisted over their long centuries of exile. Upon coming of age, she was released upon the multiverse. Of course, things didn't quite go as planned. Rather than further the agenda of her family, as she was raised to do, she decided to go into business for herself. It was quite an easy choice, all things considered.

Presently, Aressa spends her time spanning realities in her search for further power and entertainment, sometimes traveling with her brother, Reth.

Misc. Information of Importance: Mask - Aressa's mask is nigh-indestructible, harder than any known material. The mask also moves as if it were flesh, to properly account for facial expression.

Hair - Aressa's seemingly thickly clumped hair is actually a series of fully prehensile tentacle-like appendages, a trait gained through the mutating properties of the power her family wields. These can extend to great lengths when needed.
