Name: Laura Seidle

Race: Human (maybe with a little something else as well?)

Personality: Seth is hot-headed and stubborn. She is quick to snap at others, and is very independant. She also has a very caring side, but it doesn't show very often. She deals with hurt and sadness by hiding it and pushing it deep inside her.. until she eventually explodes and basically goes all destructive.

Background: Seth's family was torn apart when her brother, Ben, joined a cult that spoke to dead people. He was convinced that he was supposed to purge the world, and to prove his loyalty he was going to start by killing his own family. Her family split up and began wandering around, figuring they'd be safer as individuals than together. She has changed her name several times to avoid detection, and is currently going by Seth. She was living in a small village that she had been in for almost a year, working as a dancer/entertainer at the town's small playhouse when she became friends with a guy named Ziek, who helped her get her job back after her position was cut.

Current Status: Fearing that she'd be found by her brother because of staying in the town for too long, she left it and Ziek left with her. They now live together in an apartment in a large, technologically advanced city.  The city was attacked, and now is under martial law.  Ziek is training Seth how to fight so that she doesn't have to run anymore.

Abilities: Seth has recently found out that she has strange powers over fire, and is honing her skills. She can now summon it and extinguish it at will. She knows that she has ancestors that had a similar ability that they were able to use when they were in dangerous times, so it's possible that she's not entirely human like she thinks she is.

 Weapons: Katana blade, specially made out of a material that easily cuts through other metal objects.  She is still learning how to use it, though her skills are much improved.
