Psychological Profile Robin Locks discovered he was a mutant during a family cook out when his father set up an archery range....he took aim at the target......he was always a good shot...popular smart handsome everything a teen aged boy could want. However after his first arrow the string of his bow broke and his plasma bolt fired off smashing through the target. His parents freaked out and drove off...they didn't survive the car accident leaving young Robin alone. He soon adopted the moniker hood and became a costumed hero. He joined the team known as Forcewerks and quickly became one of their squad leaders. They had many run ins with a group known as the fifth chapter headed by a mutant known as Catalyst. They battled back and forth for years...finally ending in the death of Catalyst and the scattering of the Fifth Chapter to the wind. But it wasn't without it's cost.....in the after math of the battle forcewerks was no more, all the members save for hood were dead. He went solo, having his base moved from the Catskill Mountains to the San Juan Hills of San Francisco and stated over.
