Royal Guards

One day the galaxy will look back on me and call me a revolutionary. Today they will call me a tyrant

Real Name: Anzek Dirano
Implants: Bio-Stabilizer:The bio-stabilizer implant was a cybernetic device which was used 4,000 years before the Battle of Yavin. They were essentially micro-computers that were inside the body of the user and monitored the circulatory system. Undesirable contents in the blood were removed by way of a complex algorithm in the implant allowing the implant to maintain the user's body stability. This same system allowed the implant to detect drops or surges in nerve transmission rates within the body. The bio-stabilizer implant also stored and transmitted basic knowledge of various poisons and toxins into the mind of its user, teaching the brain to synthesize antidotes. The user of a bio-stabilizer implant was essentially immune to poison.

Although highly trained as a Royal guard, Mazzik furthered his skills in the Force and taught him the more "darker" uses of it's power. After Mazzik died Anzek stepped up and took hold of the Dirano Empire. Since Anzek's rise to power he has expanded the Dirano criminal empire and currently holds a reputation for being the most deadly and ruthless man in his profession as well as being one of the most influential men in the galaxy.

Training: Royal Guardsmen trace their roots to the cerulean-clad Senate Guards of the Old Republic. But in comparison, there is a special elite, within this elite-of-elites, class of Imperial Guards called Sovereign Protectors; they serve as the final pinnacle Royal Guardsmen can hope to ascend to, and this nigh-impossible to reach rank serves to motivate them still further. In addition to the usual duties regular Royal Guards handled, Sovereign Protectors were singled out, as much by their elaborate light-weight ceremonial armor as their charge of policing the ranks of the Royal Guard, by being answerable only to the Emperor himself or Darth Vader. After the Emperor was reborn on Byss, the Sovereign Protectors' paramount duty was to guard the clone vats - a task in which they would fail, due to the treachery of Carnor Jax, the Emperor's physician, and the dark side adepts Nefta and Sa-Di. The Guardsmen are selected from the elite squads of the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps, and before even beginning the training that would wash out most of its inductees - fatally, one might add - are judged on select size, strength, intelligence and loyalty requirements. Those who successfully match all criteria are allowed to begin training in the Echani arts in the unofficial training compound located on the sterilized planet of Yinchorr. A mere 4% of all trainees would survive the rigours that awaited them to become Royal Guards; during a yearlong training program, recruits sparred against each other continuously perfecting their combat skills. By working both alone and in pairs, recruits learned how to rely on themselves or on a teammate to achieve victory, a step away from the squad-based Stormtrooper training received on Carida. Failure in training often meant death. In their final test, each fought his training partner to the death in a battle before Palpatine himself. Only a handful would survive this final test and display of their loyalty and skill. Royal Guardsmen are trained to use any form of weapon known to the Empire, including but not limited to: any blaster weapon, bo staffs, basic swords and lightsabers, and vibroblades, as well as a dozen or more martial arts forms. In order to keep themselves in top form at all times, Royal Guardsmen often dueled, in what is described by a viewer in Palpatine's private court as "a brutal war, consisting of only two men". This practice kept the Guardsmen in shape as well as giving Royal Guard recruits a chance to advance in rank. They were occasionally rotated out in units to Stormtrooper detachments in the Outer Rim or other combat areas to keep them in fighting trim, and spread their legend.

Personal Ship: Scarlet Guard
The SoroSuub Personal Luxury Yacht 3000 is a luxury yacht made famous by it's ability to be modified. The "Scarlet Guard" is the personal starship of mobster and Imperial hero Anzek Dirano. Anzek has owned numerous starships throughout his long career, but the Scarlet Guard has been the most durable. Anzek initially planned to transform the Scarlet Guard into an advanced luxury cruiser. However, Anzek's near-constant involvement with the Empire has forced him to convert the Scarlet Guard into a competent combat vehicle. At first glance, the fifty-meter long starship appears to be an unarmed pleasure yacht, but this placid exterior conceals ten retractable heavy laser cannons and two small ion cannon turrets. A pair of powerful Chempat-6 deflector shield generators provide heavy protection from enemy fire. The Scarlet Guards engines are housed in two long engine pods connected to the main hull. Although the starship's sublight and hyperdrive speeds can't match those of the Millennium Falcon, the Scarlet Guard can still outrace nearly any other luxury vehicle in the galaxy. The Scarlet Guards secondary systems truly set it apart. It has a highly-sophisticated sensor system allowing Anzek to detect, identify, and scan approaching vessels at great range. When the Crimson Guard is scanned by customs officials or enemy forces, the ship's transponder can be programmed with up to three separate false identities that include aliases, fake cargo manifests, and modified system specs. Anzek frequently changes these identities, although he has used the alias "Stardream" on more than one occasion. A droid brain aboard the starship can pilot the starship in emergencies and direct it towards a summoning unit that Anzek always keeps on his belt. The starship also has concealed smuggler compartments. The holding cells are lined with mando-metal to dampen the use of the Force which makes them ideal for securing, and transporting Force users. Although the Crimson Guard is now well-suited to combat, it is still a lavish luxury starship. An entire observation level includes an exterior deck and numerous viewports. Anzek's private suite and the five visitor cabins are decorated with rare art from around the galaxy. Conform-couches can be found throughout the starship, and the main deck contains a jet-stream meditation pool, and a small crystal garden. Even the Crimson Guards escape pods are furnished with state-of-the-art grav-couches covered in the finest Corellian leather.
