Abilities: Maggie is her mother's child, and her abilities greatly mimic her mother's. With one slight difference. Where as lifeguard can assume any power, Maggie must first witness the abilities of others used before she will be able to copy them. She then has the ability to retain these powers. (For those Heroes fans out there, think Peter Peterelli)

History:
Since her mother was busy doing the adventurer thing, Maggie was raised by her grandparents. She experienced the typical Australian beach bum childhood, spending all her time on the waves much like her mother had. Not that her mother was absent in her life, actually, that's what brought about Maggie's enrollment in the Xavier institute. The more time she spent around her mother, the more people with abilities she would meet. It wasn't long before she met an empath, had an emotional breakdown as she absorbed/copied his ability, and wound up in therapy. Heather realized her daughter needed more help than she could offer, and enrolled her in the institute.
