History -

Born to New York City Police Detective Kevin Kennedy and musician Kelly McKenna, Jonah was brought into the world illegitimately during a one-night stand. From the beginning, the kid was a bit disturbed...always liking to see what happened to other things when you did...stuff...to them. It started with inanimate objects until Jonah discovered a notion called "pain"...and how living things were just so susceptible to it. This developed strongly over time, often getting Jonah in trouble at school and home.

When Jonah entered his teens, his mutant abilities began to surface...but it was subtle: a voice here and there in his head. Jonah wasn't sure what was happening and asked his father about it...who jokingly told him that everyone heard voices from time to time. The man that had little tolerance of mutants didn't even put two and two together. Along with the telepathy, Jonah found that his imagination was more than vivid...it was potent. His father quickly caught on after several of Jonah's early illusions. The man sought immediate help for his mutant son...before Jonah found that he could easily influence the man with some well-placed thoughts and phrases. Over the course of a few months of Kevin finding little to no help for Jonah, and Jonah working hard to develop his new imagination...Jonah was finally able to create convincing scenarios to entertain his father.

After years of torture...Kevin was finally able to break free and, after a failed attempt at murdering his own son, put a bullet through his brain. Now sixteen, Jonah lived for himself and started to fend for himself. It didn't take long to learn how to influence people into getting what he wanted, much like he held his father captive for so long. Jonah got a job using his powers, was able to gain advantages and promotions using his powers...and eventually grew to the top of the local branch. But, seeing how higher positions granted higher rewards, Jonah had his sights set so much higher. In three years time, he's achieved a district-level position within the fast food company for which he works. He searches for his mother constantly, wishing to play with her as he did his father, who had won full custody from Kelly McKenna on the grounds that she was a mutant and financially unstable musician. Besides all that...Jonah's always looking for someone to kidnap, torture, maim and/or kill in a fashion exhibiting much blood and mayhem...because that's the way he likes his murders.


Powers -

Jonah is a close-range telepathic, but doesn't realize it. He merely thinks those voices in his head are...voices in his head. Able to pick images and thoughts out of other people's heads as well, those tend to flash into his mind too, adding to his dementia. His other ability aids in his bloodlust, as he's able to project complex and realistic illusions into the minds of those around him. Close proximity is essential for this, and he enjoys making them as twisted as possible. Through his illusions, Jonah can cause his victims to feel all sorts of sensations, tickling their brains, to render them useless so that he may have his way with them.
