Brief history:
A fairy that lives in a small icy house on the shores of a lake, Cirno is a scourge upon the denizens of Gensokyo. Not a very serious scourge mind you, but there are very few people who haven't been on the receiving end of a prank at the hands of the infamous Team 9, of which Cirno is the de facto leader. Like most fairies, Cirno isn't that bright, but she is deceptively cunning, and even the likes of Ran Yakumo have fallen for the 'baka's' pranks. Don't feel too bad for the victims though, because if you were just pranked, the list of viable suspects is fairly small, and Cirno usually receives a beat down even if she wasn't the culprit. At some point, Cirno somehow managed to find a way out of the Hakurei barrier that separates Gensokyo from the rest of the world. Yukari has been heard saying that Cirno was probably just too stupid to realize that it shouldn't of worked, but the few who know of the disappearance (or rather, the few who care) suspect this is likely bullshit, so no one really knows how she got out.
Weaknesses: being an ice fairy, Cirno is weak to fire and other forms of extreme heat. She's also directly connected to her representation in nature, an icy lake in Gensokyo
