I am not entirely sure I know what it is you people want from them... So far, all a Faction entails is the ability to designate a special icon for Faction members. This will make it easier on the Administrators, being that they won't have to worry about things like this, and also it would keep RPGs more accurate.  Just an idea here... I'm not sure if this would be possible or not, but it'd be nice for people to be able to give the general public ideas about what your faction is and who is in it. O fcourse, it could in theory consist of total political lies, but that's the fun of a faction, isn't it? Edited 10:55pm, December 14 by FALCON X-0N, author.  Icons...blech Buzz 10:15pm, December 14, 2002 [Edit] [Delete] On the subject of icons, perhaps you could throw together a tutorial (hell, I'd put one together, for that matter) on how to develop one, or at least put up a set of specs for icons that is in a more public place (I can't even remember where I first found them). I've gotten a lot of icon submissions for the /cin cantina, over the years, which are so far out of the range of the specs that I can't even convert them so that they'd work, and retain the effect of the icon. Also, people have submitted to me a lot of icon idea that just won't work, like for instance "Hey, I've an icon idea" "Lets's hear it" "I want it to have two snakes twirrling around an assault rifle with 'Assassins Forever' written in huge type at the bottom". Needless to say, this has left many people disheartened and occassionaly even harboring agressive feelings. What I'm really getting at here is that I'd like there to be a set of Icon regulation, and maybe impliment a feature where as the leader of a faction can designate particular icons for each individual rank in their faction. This would save me in particular a good deal of work,not neccessarily in making them but in managing them, as people seem to all want icon work done at the same time, and I'm the one who usually ends up doing it for the /cin cantina. I can't imagine this is much different in other chats, for the most part. It could go on to faction profile site or be put in a separate frame. There could even be a place for Administrators/Moderators to create secret Faction Profiles only viewable by Faction Leaders that tell them what resources they have or other misc. info.
