History: The half- blood son of Tom Riddle Sr. and Merope Gaunt, many now know him as the Dark Lord Voldemort. He was raised in an orphanage until he was eleven, at which time he was visited by Dumbledore, who invited him to attend Hogwarts. When he arrived, he was appropriately sorted into Slytherin house. He was a very charming and bright boy. In fact, he has been described as one of the brightest students Hogwarts has seen. After leaving Hogwarts, he attempted to gain a position at Hogwarts as Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor. However, Dumbledore turned him down, and since then, no one has been able to hold the position for more than a year. Tom eventually takes on the title Lord Voldemort, and forms an army of followers called the Death Eaters.
At the height of his power, he learns of a possible threat, by the name of Harry Potter, and attempts to remove said threat from existence. Unfortunately, due to powerful magic he was unaware of at the time, the Killing Curse rebounded against him, destroying his physical form. He was able to exist still due to his own brand of magic, namely the several Horcruxes he had created. Since then he has been biding his time, waiting for the right time to return to the physical world.
Soon, very soon, the Dark Lord shall rise again!
