Her father was a fashion photographer, and her mother was a defense attorney. During the early years of her life, her parents were loving and attentive. When she turned nine, this all changed. Her father’s work began to gain notice, and her mother won a string of important cases, landing her a large promotion within the firm. The family then moves to London, and things just seem to go downhill from there. Her parents had finally achieved the business and financial success they had worked so hard for, but became very distant and hands- off with their only child, preferring to let her do whatever she wanted instead of stepping in and actually parenting the child, as is obvious by her numerous body mods. Kass was extremely grateful when she got her Hogwarts letter, allowing her a reprieve from her lack of parental attention.
