The Twilight Raven Tribe
The people of this tribe are often nomadic in nature, though they occasionally pass through the material realm on occasion, where they are mistaken for "shadow people" by normal humans, they spend the majority of their long lives wandering the shadow realm itself. While religion itself does not hold much sway in their tribe, they are nonetheless very spiritual and have firm beliefs along with ancient traditions.
On rare occasions they will take humans into their fold if the need arises, and though the human is technically not part of their tribe, said human is still marked, willingly, with the clan symbol and bound to them for the rest of his or her natural life span should they choose to stay.
Here those bound humans are taught alongside the children of the tribe how to control the darkness in their heart and mind, to bring about a state of ease and peace of mind, but are also taught on how to summon that same darkness into a companion or a weapon.
