Born the heir of the ancient and wise Anzati Akku Seii, Preigh Not'rah is incredibly adept and efficient in the arts of espionage, subterfuge, infiltration, misdirection and manipulation. Upon entering the Jedi Order, he became quite proficient in Form II Makashi, and Form III Soresu, having learned under the teaching of Jedi Master Nay-Tei Shen. Upon Knighthood Preigh Not'rah had mastered Makashi, as well as the more acrobatic and ferocious Form IV: Ataru. However, he never acheived such an honor with Soresu, albeit his myriad offensive fighting style is heavily influenced by Form III.
History
Born on the legendary Mid Rim world of Anzat, Preigh was a protege and anathema of his species and clan. The heir of the ancient and legendary Akku Seii, he was an effecient pupil of the wise teacher. Akku saw potential and ambition in his son since birth, and further through his childhood that ambition and potential, developed into raw skill. By the time of his adolescence, his affinity in the assassin arts his father had been instructing him had matured beyond his years. One day a regiment of armed men came to Akku's smaller abode looking for guidance in the assassin art, and when Seii refused they became violent. Jumping into motion, Preigh dispatched each and every spacer and outlander that was present. All his life however, Notrah had a very unnusual distaste for the act of drinking from the 'Sea of Memory' or the brain matter of sentient beings. He had joined in to not anger anyone, but the wise Akku Seii could see past the facade. Upon seeing Not'rah kill all those men and not touch the "soup" in their skulls, Akku confronted him on it. Upon defiance, Seii exiled Preigh from Anzat, and proclaimed him to forever be shamed by his kindred for his 'natural paradox and shame.' Seeking guidance, Preigh consulted the Jedi Order in his most desperate time of need. Every time he tasted the 'soup' he craved it more and more, and each time he became that much more disgusted with himself. Driving him past the brink of insanity. It was then that he was consulted into the Jedi Order, brought into solace in his most desperate time of need, by an anonymous Jedi Master of the New Order. There, they trained him in the embrace of the Light Side, where Preigh learned to sedate his natural hunger, and instead use it as a focal point or drive to envelop himself in the Light Side. He replaced that natural hunger to drink from the 'life fluid' of sentience, for a hunger for knowledge and justice. More specifically, Preigh was trained from apprenticeship to Knighthood, by Jedi Master Nay-Tei Shen. Never an official Master-Padawan relationship, Preigh was Shen's star pupil in all of his myraid teaching and instructing in the Jedi Order. Preigh rose as Shen's protege, but never apprentice. Their training was so extensive, along with much philisophical and extensive physical self-training from Not'rah, that he reached the level of Jedi Knight without hesitation or any flucation. Upon reaching the rank of Jedi Knight, he had learned to not fight against the hunger, but subdue it completely with his fight to restore balance in the Force, and strengthen the Mantra of the Light Side of the Force. His salvation from insanity, literally.
