Nay-Tei Profile

Guardian

Real Name: Nay-Tei Shen
Affiliation: Lord of Ruusan / Formerly Jedi Knight
Age: 42 standard years
Species: Mimirian
Family: N/A
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 236 lbs
Eye Color: Left - Purple (result of genetic experimentation)
Right - metallic gold optical implant (can rotate to reveal a protected red glowing sensor)
Hair Color: Green (result of genetic experimentation)
Weapon(s): 1x custom model blaster(Gunn)
1x lightsaber(dual emerald blades) Showing remarkable skill in electronics, Nay-Tei's lightsaber utilizes a series of micro-power cells rather than a single large power cell which allows for possible continued use even if the weapon is severed in half. The secondary emitter has also been constructed in a fashion which allows for use as an outlet to boost the primary blade's intensity and length drastically (creating a blade similar in form to a cutting torch rather than a traditional looping energy blade). With energy bursting out in a torch-like fashion rather than returning towards the hilt to recycle itself, this enhanced status of the weapon becomes immune to the "crash" itself and other lightsabers experience during contact with cortosis and similar items, though great skill must be exercised to avoid entanglement in the required power feed cable.(note: Along with a personally crafted holocron, Nay-Tei has left this lightsaber on his homeworld of Ruusan.)

**Some time between his disappearance after Yavin IV's decimation and the NR's recruitment of him to their Inner War Council, Nay-Tei forged a pair of matching swords and several other bladed weapons for his personal use. Utilizing arcane smithing processes and personal research on metalurgy, these blades are resistant to damage from lightsabers and other energy weapons as well as impervious to dulling or chipping.
Vehicle(s): V-Wing starfighter(customized with a sensor absorbing, matte black/hunter green paint job)
Armor
A semi-organic armor similar in appearance to the Vonduum Crab armor of the Yuuzhan Vong with a detachable hooded cloak and an optional back mounting power supply with extendable cord for attachment to Nay-Tei's lightsaber. This armor requires specialty tools to repair, though bears the abilities to heal itself over extended periods of time, contain the wearer in an enclosed environment for safety from such things as toxins and the vacuum of space and can even mask the wearer's vital signs from electronic detection (though will, itself, appear as a form of dense mineral such as carbon of a diamond toughness). Recently, during his self-imposed exile to Ruusan, Nay-Tei has added a pair of plasma casters to the shoulder plates of his armor... small, pivoting, projectile weapons of nearly disruptor weapons' power that bear an approximate 16 meter range and move to target objects or persons within Nay-Tei's own field of vision while active. Capable of tracking two targets simultaneously, these weapons are charged by the backpack-style power generator that previously fed his lightsaber's secondary operating configuration. He has also adorned his right bracer with a pair of particularly vicious looking retractable blades of the same unknown alloy as his swords and other hand held weapons.

History...
Lord Shen, or Guardian as he declares himself, was born on the near-mythical planet Ruusan. While little is known of the man himself, his species and their original homeworld are a thing of legend, believed to have vanished from the pages of history by the end of the Sith Wars.
Discovered nearly dead in the Valley of the Jedi by Kyle Katarn, Nay-Tei was brought to the known galaxy for medical aid and eventually joined the ranks of Luke Skywalker’s Jedi Praxeum on Yavin IV. Later he would rise to the rank of Knight and opt to travel to Ossus where a long disused Jedi outpost was being rebuilt. In time, though, several personal tragedies and a constant difference in opinion with the Jedi council saw the end of Shen’s career. With no hesitation, Nay-Tei would isolate himself to the wilds of Ossus where he apparently made some attempt at domestic life, apparently taking a wife and even having children. This too would not last for the Mimirian, and during an absence to lead his son Ban’nin through a ceremonial hunt on a hostile jungle world, old vendettas would be revisited as his family was attacked and brutally murdered, left for him to find upon his return. Confronted with this horror, Nay-Tei entrusted the being known as Talon to care for his son and raise him as a warrior. Spending the next day burying his wife and two daughters, Shen would ultimately set his home on fire, walking away, assuming the alias of "Guardian" and vanishing from the happenings of the galaxy for nearly a decade.
In more recent years, Lord Shen has been sighted with some degree of frequency. Through interception of transmissions or even a degree of foresight, the warrior tends to appear without explanation in places and times of great need to enter fields of battle on whichever side he sees as just in their cause, vanishing as suddenly as he appears. Those with access to the scant records existing on Nay-Tei have speculated that he may not be seeking to aid others on the basis of righteousness, but rather, because he is searching for a battlefield worthy of his death.

Medical:

Though little information is available about the subject, Nay-Tei Shen, or his species - the Mimirians, analysis Indicates that his race exhibits the unique ability to "overheal" physical injury such that damaged tissue actually becomes slightly more resilient against similar future injury. Mimirians  also hold different physiological attributes, making them highly resistant to many forms of chemical/biological/viral stimuli that often prove inhibiting, harmful or even fatal to other races throughout the galaxy... though this also reduces the effectiveness of equally beneficial stimuli such as bacta and other items of varying medicinal value.

Due to excessive combat related strain on subject, Nay-Tei Shen, his body has suffered severe injury on several documented occasions requiring various repairs/augmentations listing as follows:
- NRI prototype model X-4592"allseeing" optical implant w/ duralloy grafting of skull and duralloy fiberweave wrapping of cranium.
- duralloy grafting of various fragmented vertebrae along spine
- cyber bionic enhancements of the right arm as well as duralloy grafting and reconstruction of the skeletal structure.
