In Egypt, Pharaoh fights for the survival of the Middle Kingdom. Pitting his forces against the Scorpion King in a fight for the shards which rest in his kingdom. In Europe, War has erupted further as from the dark fortress-city Orstrheinburg, Nightmare has unleashed his campaign against the known world. His undead army, prompting an emergency meeting in Rome to declare what should be done about it. And all the while, shards of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur are scattered. The pieces calling to those who seek them out, attracting warriors for their own ends....While serving their own. Whats in your Soul? Until the 5 Knights of Verithia fought and defeated him at the Valley of Gale. They sealed him in a barrier dimension with the 5 Seals of Hilontwarl, the seals used to seal gods. Milleniums later the shards of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur resonate with the dark energies pouring out of Orrinogi's seal.
