[Delete] | Nightmares eve: Heralding a new age, and a new time after the events which shattered both Soul Edge and Soul Calibur in the conflict, Nightmare had become ressurected once more. With Soul Edge at his side, and unleashing a campaign across the known world. Entire countries have fallen to him and his dark allies now, his undead armies expanding with every being who falls to him.
Though even now, resistance is still alive. Rome, recently seized by another otherworldly power emerges as a beacon despite its current totalitarianism outlook and as it is one of the few places yet untouched, all nations yet free flock to it for a meeting in which monarchs, and all leaders of the world shall come. To discuss the threat of Nightmare, and of an alliance.
Yet despite the darkness which the war creates as its background, warriors of all types come in competition for the shards of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur. Knowing that he who wields the shards and fuses them together, shall wield a power greater then any known yet. And yet for those familiar, several questions yet remain.
Why do the shards scatter across Time and Space?
Where do the shards come from, seeing how Soul Calibur is in the hands of Segfried the knight and Soul Edge in that of Nightmare....Both whole and intact?
And finally, what will happen now? Time will tell as the followers of the Soul Swords choose sides and prepare for war and glory.
