Nadine Slater...all grown up

Born :June 6, 1999

Nadine Slater-Mc Murdoch, she is not the little girl you thought you knew. Nadine spent her formative years shuttled between households, struggled to find her own identity. What she did find was a confused place in her family.

Though she was spoiled Nadine by her parents Nadine had few friends growing up save for a ghost named Emilio and her older sister Ruby Espinoza. After witnessing her mother and unborn baby sister nearly crushed to death in the burnt out remains of their house Nadine retreated further into her own little world.

As her therapist would tell her parents there was no real way to say when or how well she'd recover. At home Nadine became quiet and reserved, she showed few signs of returning to her boisterous self. For a few years the only place Nadine truly came alive was in her dance classes or out on her horse Macaroni.

Up until she was 11 years old Nadine spent her Thursday afternoons at therapy, mainly discussing how afraid she was to mess up again. Her plethora of fears surrounding how she might make her parents angry or disappointed. Through therapy Nadine was able to come to a point of less stoicism in her day to day life but, she was never again the boisterous rambunctious child she'd been prior to the accident.

The only real constants in her life are her love of dance and her love of animals. At the age of 17 without her parents knowledge or permission she auditioned for and won entry into the famed Juliard dance program. After many bitter fights with both parents she was finally allowed to go. At the age of 19 she met the man she'd eventually marry. Kalen Mc Murdoch, her first love.

As she enters adulthood Nadine will know fame on her own independant of her family name. After an aborted career as a choreographer and feature dancer in hip hop, she was named as the lead dancer and assistant choreographer to the Ailey 3 dance troupe at the age of 22. After two years of world tours and numerous awards she retired at age 24 to concentrate on becoming a veterinarian.
