Name: Orion

Species: Fox

Sex: male

Age: somewhere between the ages of 20-25

Description:  A fox of athletic build he clothes himself in the garments often associated with sorcery and spell crafting.  A black classic pointy wizard's hat rests upon his head held up by his ears, with a matching black cloak with a red under lining.  A light brown leather belt with various satchels is fastened around his waste line with a pendant swinging from around his neck.  His attire is complete with gloves and boots that match his cloak and hat.  Lastly his body is covered in runes that remain invisible unless he is forced into combat.

Personality:   Orion does not seek power, perhaps that is why it is constantly being thrust upon him.  Reclusive and mysterious in fear that some of his unrestrained power might harm some one he'll often refrain from associating with others unless he feels a matter requires his help and no one else is available to lend assistance.  But when he does choose to be around others he'll often come off as a tad vain with a dash of charming.

Powers and Abilities:  Versed in the arts of sorcery the fox is capable of impressive feats of magic ranging from simple matter and energy manipulation to conjuring up small meteors to strike his targets.  But his powers are not without their limit requiring mana to fuel them.  Once his mana runs out the fox becomes relatively powerless and any constructs he has up will vanish and or fall apart.  Aside from his magical prowess Merlin and others have taught him martial arts as a form of meditation so as to help him master both body and mind .

Spells:

Weapon materialization:  Capable of forming a melee weapon from seemingly thin air, the weapon in question while composed of a good metal quality will be just that, a ordinary weapon.  Often taking on the form of a broad sword.

Elemental infusion:  Taking whatever weapon he has materialized he'll infuse it with any the elements under his control for a short bit to bolster his attacks.

Curses:  These curses range from turning one into a frog to simply putting them to sleep.  Those however who are powerful either in a physical sense or magical essence might be able to easily resist these curses depending upon their strength.

Elemental attacks:  A simple bombardment of any element that can take on the form of a ice bombardment to a small earthquake.  These are among his strongest spells though  and can cause a serious drain on his mana reserves.  These elements being earth, water/ice, lightning, fire and wind

Golem Constructs:  Orion will infuse any solid element from ice to stone with a small portion of his essence so as to temporarily give it life of it's own, should these things be defeated and or destroyed Orion will feel a small back lash causing him physical pain.

Illusions:  As the name says Orion will cause spells designed to fool the eyes, ranging from one seeing a powerful monster to suddenly seeing the ground below their feet is gone.

Barriers:  Depending how much mana he puts into it, these barriers can be as strong to stop a speeding truck dead in it's tracks.

(will add more...if I feel like it =P)

Background:  Apprenticed at a young age to Merlin Prower Orion began his venture into mastering the magical prowess that lied within him.  Not long into his apprenticeship though the two were forced to flee and go into hiding when the cruel dictator Robotnik began to seize control of the planet.  For a short while the former chief wizard would further educate the fox in the arts of magic in hopes of being able to pass on his knowledge to his apprentice.  But when matters regarding the chosen one came to his attention he found he was unable to both help his nephew and instruct the other fox.  Realizing the safety of the planet came first Orion would leave his teacher, striking out to find others who might finish what Merlin had started.  Occasionally being able to find those who could give him some brief tutelage as well occasionally locating small libraries of the knowledge he sought the fox became mostly self taught through trial and error.  Upon Robotnik's apparent defeat Orion would return to his former master's home in hopes of learning the final mastery of his talents only to find he had gone.  After a brief venture he'd come to learn that Merlin Prower had gone on to become one of the new Ancient Walkers leaving the fox alone to continue studying on his own.
