Cosmic Energy Manipulation/Quantum Magic: During his youth Adam's home was destroyed in crash of a meteor. The meteorite had been infused in it's journey through space with cosmic radiation. As a result of this cosmic radiation, the meteorite that should have killed him instead mutated his physiology. The result of this mutation allows him to manipulate the cosmic energy that was infused into him from the meteor.
Energy Projection: Warlock is able to manipulat the cosmic energy in his body for a variety of effects. With this power he is able to release the energy as a bust of concussive force, a common form of energy projection. He is also is able to create shileds from the energy around himself and others. Through this energy projection he is also capable of flight and is able to open temporal portal that allows him to teleport. However, due to the massive energy maintaining the portal requires he isn't able to use it frequently. However, through this ability he is able to travel through other planes of existence as well.
Energy Absorbtion: When the cosmic radiation mutated his body, it had to mutate the cells to allow them to absorb the radiation energy. This alteration however remains part of his genetic chemistry. It allows him to absorb radiation as well as direct energy into his body to fuel his own stores of cosmic energy. Most notably he absorbs solar energy to maintain his power.
Hyper Density: The same mutation that allows his cells to absorb and convert energy also increased the density of his body. Compressing his molecules. The effect of this density naturally increases his strength and durability. He is able to lift four tons ordinarilly and his durability is equivalent to his strength. However, his strength and durability increase the more energy he holds inside his body. An added effect of this is that he is able to survive in extreme pressures such as in space and in the depths of the water, seeming able to sustain himself completly on the energy stored in his body without air.
Conjuring: Not understanding the nature of his power, Warlock has begun to practice manipulating his cosmic energy in the same way people utilize magick. However, his practice of sorcery is still yet untrained. His current knowledge is limited and he has only learned how to manipulate the cosmic energy better. Such as the ability to astral project as well as able to control the cosmic energy on a smaller more focused scale.
Brief History: Adam Roberts home was struck by a meteor when he was a young boy. However, the cosmic radiation of the meteorite altered his bodies physiology. It mutated him into the man who would one day become Warlock. Adam was one of many human slaves rescued by Nyx during a raid on slave traders. Since earning his freedom, Warlock has been working on unlocking the magic that laid dormant in his body. A warrior from the future by the name of Gamora would be sent to assasinate him by a future variant of himself. However, the future Warlock who had cast his evil and good aspects out of himself in the hopes of becoming an unbiased and impartial entity of balance did not count on his evil aspects intervention. The Magus would assault his opposite number and use his own powers to draw out a younger version of himself into the past. This act effectively destroying the future time stream. The first act of the young Magus was to attempt to kill Warlock. If not for the aid of Gamora and his own future self, Warlock would have died. He was able to wrap himself in threads of cosmic energy and cocoon himself to heal himself from the fatal wound.
Warlock has recently risen from his cocoon, a trick that has advanced him to a state of further maturity. His knowledge and understanding of his power has increased aided by the work of his elder self. He is now on par with the Magus and his recently born "sister," Her. Knowing that his unchecked counterparts may someday destroy the known galaxies, he seeks to eliminate them while they are still his equal.
