This is to say, if he were to eat a piece of steel he would become steel-like but not become steel. His skin and bones would become as hard as steel but not turn to steel. Likewise, were he to take a bite of a mutant, he would develop their abilities for a time. The period of time the properties remain is dependent on how big of a chunk he takes out of it. Ten to fifteen minutes for a small bite, thirty minutes for a large bite, and if he were to consume an entire person, he would gain their powers for up to two hours. This is a result of the period of time it takes to digest what he has eaten. Like was, to activate the power he must first unhinge his jaw before consuming the object, this is also, unfortunately, a tell to his enemies. Furthermore, if he were to consume more then one object in this manner, he'd only retain the properties of the last thing he consumed. Memory Consumption: By consuming the head of an individual or creature, he can absob their memories and knowledge. This does not give him any learned abilities they may have had only the knowledge of how to achieve it, though it would still take practice and time to learn it. Of course, for secret information, it's the fastest path to the answer. Omnivouring: Is able to devour almost anything. This especially applies to physically tangible objects. He is able to bite through practically any physical material. He's also been able to consume some intangible forms, but it's a hit and miss sort of thing. He's even been able to consume on occasion things like magicks, though mostly this is limited to magic barriers and locks and not so much as spells and such. Intestinal Fortitude: Due to the unique make up of his stomach and his abilities, he is able to consume any object safely. This includes such things as poisons and even explosive devices. However, where he is completly immune to poison and illness, if someone were to plant a bomb on him it would harm him just as much as anything else. Likewise, poison is a unique instrument, as it remains in his system even after he has digested it, allowing him to retain it's properties for longer then the small dosages should allow. Up to but not exceeding an hour. Likewise, should he absorb the properties of an explosive, he would be able to create an explosion from himself without harm, however he'd only be allowed one detonation. Brief History: An experiment of Sinister's who willingly signed up with him to have his mutation altered. For the longest time, his powers were dormant with only the twin rows of razor sharp teeth that stretch his mouth in a permanent grin as the sign of his mutation. After exposure to several chemicals and radiation treatments, his abilities were developed to their more advanced state that they are currently at. His current position is as a poison tester for Sinister and his emissaries. |
