Job/Profession: Corporate King Pin. Octavian is secretly behind many well known millionairess whom he has made deals with in exchange for their souls. He often taps the resources of these men and women from behind the scenes and when asked about his occupation he is known to claim his wealth comes from his family line and has been passed down generation to generation.

Personality Description: God complex, arrogant, vain, self absorbed.
Mental Status: Genius to the point of insanity.
Skills/ Abilities (non-supernatural): Octavian knows Latin, Greek, Hebrew and English. He has a masters degree in business and due to many long years of life he is very experienced in dealing with humans as well as creatures such as demons, vampires, werewolves and of course other mages though he rarely seeks them out. Octavian is a master swordsman with knowledge of fire arms though he rarely uses anything besides his magic considering "human" tools to be mundane.
Flaws (non-supernatural): Arrogant, cold, sociopath ( does not feel human emotion) apathy towards the human condition.
Powers/Supernatural Abilities(Please be as descriptive as possible): Octavian is a mage of legendary magnitude. Among his known abilities are conjuration, time manipulation, correspondence, summoning and manipulation of matter. Octavian also possesses many minor relics and magical items which are usually kept on display to appease his ego.
Supernatural Flaws: Due to his considerable annoyance to higher beings Octavian is personally watched by the powers that be and strictly forbidden to directly interfere with mortal free will unless he wishes risk being punished by those who do not find his antics quite as amusing as he does. As a side note Octavian has a permanent "leash" upon him. Using his powers is a double sided sword. While able to perform supernatural feats with ease his magic has a tendency to backlash causing damage to himself similar to that of his spell effects. I.E. Casting a fire ball could leave his hands scorched, altering someone's form or appearance can alter part of his form and appearance etc.
Detailed History: Octavian was born in Constantinople during the final days of the Byzantine Empire. Considering himself to be Roman he followed the typical path for a noble of his household and became an officer in the military. When Constantinople fell Octavian made a deal with the devil, quite literally, asking for the power to exact his revenge in exchange for his soul. It is at this time that Octavian received the first foretaste of the power which would later be his to command. After tracking down the Commander of the soldiers who had seized his home the Devil came to collect. Octavian, afraid of the grave and his day of judgement, offered the devil another deal. In exchange for holding off his day of reckoning he would track down the survivors of the fallen city and get them to sign their souls over to the devil. When this task was completed the Devil came to Octavian a third time and this time he offered Octavian a deal which he knew the power hungry mortal could not reject. The devil offered to spare Octavians life until the day of judgment in exchange for a life time of service.... And so it is today as it was long ago. The Mage is known to travel the lands leaving destruction where ever he goes. Some of the older beings have come to call him " storm crow" for whatever city he sets his eyes upon soon succumbs to it's own lustful desires which the mage is more than happy to supply. At times Octavian is known to make deals with mortals in exchange for magical artifacts or services but to what end is anyone's guess. |
