Profile: Thomas Marvolo Riddle, adopted at an early age by a mundane policeman and his wife soon learned what it meant to be a protector. Even after learning he was magic when his letter came, this core pervaded him as time went on and proved to be a wondrous guide when he finally chose his profession, entering the Auror Divisions in memory of his adopted father, Richard Simon.

He served gallantly for ten years afterward, before retiring to his books and his tomes, at which point he began to study other branches of magic and their effects, as well as running a detective agency on the side to keep his mind sharp. From Australia's Outbacks to the swamps of New Orleans, he's traveled in his quest for knowledge and on occassion, took up his wand and other skills to fight the nightmares that threaten the people in his sight. The majority of his old workplace think him un-wizardly. Those who value his work and aide know otherwise.

For what is magic, if not an eternal quest to understand the truth of the world? As of recent events Riddle has resigned from the ministry in protest and vanished off the grid.

A year later, a powerful sorcerer identifying himself as Voldemort dueled three magi and an executor to a stand still before freeing the imprisoned entity known as the Witch-King.
