Name: Didero Ploteus Yggmillenia
Race: Human
Class: Arcane Warrior
Height: 5’’ 11’
Weight: 195
Hair: Black, slicked back and jagged.
Eyes: Grey
Aspects: High Concept: Addition-Adept Enforcer
Trouble: Enemies in High Places
Aspect: Heir to the Ploteus Clan: Didero is heir to the ancient and venerated Ploteus clan, which means he also has connections to the massive Yggmillenia family as well. Being heir means that he will one day inherit the fortune of the Ploteus family … as he already inherited the family Crest, a rune engraved into his flesh which has the entirety of his clan’s spells stored within, boosting the total amount of prana at his disposal.
Aspect: Unassuming Yet Experienced Fighter: There is more to Didero than meets the eye. Didero wears a rather baggy suit which hides his physique, so casual observers may be surprised that he’s fit enough to perform his fighting style. A fighting style that involves wielding a long sword in one hand and a dagger in the other. On first look they appear to be of average steel, neither Conceptual Weapons nor basic runed magical weapons, but few have come across them and underestimated him again … then again, few have underestimated him and gotten out of it alive. Didero has fought and captured a variety of non-heretical magi who have deviated from the norms of the Association and three Sealing Designates, so Didero has a decade worth of experience to draw from.
Aspect: Mundanely Magical: Because of his studying in the Department of Mineralogy Didero has in-depth knowledge of metals, physics, and architecture, however since these are "mundane" minerals, instead of the mystical versions that the Department is known to study, Didero's field of study is looked down on often.
Stunts: Stunt: Because I am Adept Fighter with my weapons of choice I get a + 2 when I forcefully or quickly attack with my blades. Additionally, I may use this stunt to defend by parrying, however, I can only do so against close ranged melee attacks.
Stunt: Because I can give myself a Metallic Skin and even give my internal organs the property of mystic metal, I get a + 2 when I defend. If Didero is inflicted with a consequence in this state he can reduce the severity of it by one level (a severe to a moderate, a moderate to a mild, and can nullify mild consequences) by spending a Fate point. All stress is refreshed when this occurs.
Stunt: Because I can Alter the properties of my Blades I get a + 2 to Forcefiully attack by making them more flexible, lighter, heavier or to burn on cut, upon doing so I can create an appropriate advantage to the damage type. Successfully defending the attack nullifies both the damage and the situational advantage.
Stunt: Because I can Alter the properties of Objects or people to make them heavier, lighter, hotter or cooler I add two to Cleverly Overcome obstacles or create an advantage whenever this applies.
Stunt: Because I have a grasp of Structural Analysis I add two to Cleverly Overcome an obstacle whenever a understanding of an object’s inner-workings is necessary.
Approaches: Careful: +1 Clever: +3 Flashy: +0 Forceful: +4 Quick: +3 Sneaky: +2
Stress:It was in this strange political tension that Didero was born.
Heir to the Ploteus family under the Yggmillenia clan, even without inheriting the family’s prodigious Magic Crest (consisting of twenty magic circuits – the amount of average magus, the Crest in the shape of blue, eagle wings on the chest) he was born with thirty. He also had the Water elemental affinity, giving him even more talent with their family’s skill at Material Transmutation. Immediately, his family noticed his inherent talent. As such, they decided to contact the Association and get him into courses at the Clock Tower. He was eleven when he left home for the first time.
Classes went smoothly for him. He was assigned to the Department of Mineralogy. However, unlike most students in that Department, instead of working with mystical materials for the construction of magic tools, instead he dealt with "mundane" materials and learned the physics and composition of them, much to other magi (and his own) disdain. In one word, you could describe Didero as isolated in those years. In fact, he had been isolated on his home island due to his skill and hopes his family pined on him (mostly old geezers since his mother died in childbirth and his father had abandoned the Ploteus long before that). With no one to interact with, he devoted his time to his studies and reading during quiet hours, and, as such, he grew as a magus rapidly. By his fifteenth year, far sooner than most others in the same position, he was recommended for the Enforcers. Despite being considered a second class mage due to his association in the Yggmillenia, his effective and practical use of his magecraft made him well suited for the position. Despite the rarity of Sealing Designations, Didero has already managed to apprehend and return three of them. Due to this more than anything, Didero garnered the ire of several young nobleman who felt jealous over his accomplishments, they responded by giving him more and more dangerous assignments.
