Welcome to Eden Rising, an RP developed by Elly with the intentions of giving her friends the best experience she cant when it comes to the exploration and adventure space has to offer to their characters For this RP you may only register Science Fiction characters. No superpowers, or super human abilities. All abilities are tech based here. Some abilities can be natural however, just don't make them extravagant.

Now if you happen to want to play one of the alien classes provided then psionics or tech based powerups will be available to you. To understand more about that see the reg sheet below.

You may only have up to 3 handles at a time since this RP is going to be a bit on the big side and we want it to actually move rather than stagnate. However, you may only reg one character to start. I will notify when players can reg a second and then again when they can reg a third.

Next bit of business, Character tech level will proceed like this. Humans can only have Halo human/forerunner level tech, anything higher than that is not acceptable for them to start with, don't worry, they will be allowed to advance as the story does. The Orion Protectorate, will have stolen technology as their basis, so whatever the Origin or Humans have at the time will be their tech level value. Origin have tech ranging from halo level up to star wars level, however all orgin tech must start off at the same level as Human tech to give human players a chance in a fight.

Last bit. There will be a time when space battles will occur, when this happens dice will be involved to determine how accurate a shot is from a weapon's volley. Damage will be assessed by means of a 1d100, accuracy will be determined by a 1d20. Anything ranging from 1 to 10 on the accuracy roll will indicate that the ship hit will only take minimum damage from the shot, usually only effecting shield output. Anything from 11 to 20 will indicate that the ship has lost significant shield strength or has been hit directly by the attacking ship. 1 to 10 on the damage meter will indiciate very low damage, 11 to 20, minimum, 21 to 30 minimum, and so on until you reach 100 which pretty much takes all the ship's damage endurance which means the ship is now dead. Conditions for ships of a much stronger class than others will be taken into account by applying bonuses or subtractions in damage based on the class of ship the attacking and defending ships are.
