These abilities give him an almost superhuman sense of reaction time and reflexes when manifested in combat. His newtype sensibilities make him highly adaptable in most situations involving alien technology or encounters, and highly perceptive to changes in his immediate space/time environment. It is important to note that most newtypes seem to have these abilities as naturally occuring, passive, and defensive mental states, rather than more agressive and traditional psykers who are known to have "metal bullets" and "telepathic radios" in their arsenal. Physically, Haweke is no different from any other human being who has been piloting heavy-G fighter craft and mechanized units for the majory of their life.

Weapon(s) of Choice: .45 Calibur standard PAF-Issued Recoiless pistol, for use in zero-G environments. Sometimes carries a DL-44 Blastech Hold Out Heavy Blaster Pistol, which like his speeder, he obtained from gangsters after beinged forced, at gunpoint, to race for them in an illegal circuit.

Biography: Karbn's early history is sketchy. He was born, and raised, in outer space on one of the PAF's giant rotating "Island-3" style space colonies. It is known that he was drafted into fighting for the PAF when he was fourteen, and is a war orphan. His parents were presumably killed during the first Zeon uprising, before Paptimus Contrast came to power and split Zeon, ZAFT, and the PAF from the Crossbone Forces, taking all of the colonies into orbit over Tatooine. By that time, Haweke had grown into a man and was known in most military circles as the legendary pilot of the RX-79-2 Gundam mobile suit.

Early in his career, Haweke was given the alias and callsign of "Hit," or "The Hit Hawk," a name he later derided for making him "Sound like a pop star." The name came from his uncanny accuracy rate during mobile suit combat. It's said that during training with a GM Kai, Haweke, as a cadet, was known for taking down 'enemy' mobile suits with only a single optimumly-placed blast from the machine's 90mm machine gun.

Haweke was stationed aboard the equally impressive Angelfire Pegasus class starship, which was known for their stalwart defense and exceptional pilots. Haweke first made his appearence when the Angelfire, acting under his indirect command, stepped in to stop ZAFT from going to war with a Clan of Warriors from a distant galaxy.

Later, when the Sith attacked Tatooine, it was Haweke's Zeta Gundam that was able to stand up to the massive amount of psychic warfare the wizard was propegating over the bbattlefield. Though PAF casualties were high, including the loss of the Angelfire, it was Haweke's Zeta that was able to somehow sink a whole Star Destroyer, earning him the title of "Mr. Impossible," for doing the impossible.

Though his own formidable newtype abilities, and the ability of the Zeta's biosensor to produce powerful, unknown phenomenae, were able to keep Haweke and nearby pilots from falling under the spell of the Sith Wizard's Battle Meditation, the experience left him somewhat truamitized, and afterwards he was regulated to planetside duty only. Shortly afterwards, Haweke was officially discovered to be a genuine newtype, something he had wondered, half in jest, for a long time now.

Recently, while Haweke was known as one of the greatest pilots in the PAFs entire fleet, when the madman known as Edge Koenig attempted to destroy the colonies around Tatooine, Haweke was unable to stop him from accomplishing his genocidal goal. He was listed as missing in action by the few PAF remnants that were left, and he decided to take advantage of this situation and live a new life under the name Zennar Kourmann.*

As Zennar, Haweke was free to persue other avenues of life, such as the life of a professional pod racer, or freelance mercenary, and smugglar. He purchased and retrofitted a civilian model YF-19 Veritech fighter to full combat capability, in honor of a comrade he had met on Tatooine who had a similiar craft, a woman he now considered dead. He is currently struggling to find his place in the world, while coming to grips with what it means, if anything, to be a newtype.

As Zennar Kourmann he made a new life, first as a swoop racer, and then, as the top ace pilot for the General Wellness Alliance of Mos Eisley, also known as GWAM. It was there he befriended Toxic Marsh, the founder of GWAM. Haweke, under the name of Zennar became a famous pilot and political speaker for GWAM, even traveling to the New Republic to speak on the behalf of the group.

However, Haweke still irked leadership, eventually leaving GWAM to persue freelance work, shortly before Toxic himself, was killed. Haweke blaimed himself for this death. Eventually, Haweke became known as a freelance mercenary and cargo runner, forming an oddball crew of misfits, warriors, and thieves, including a princess from a world which no longer existed. Though she felt love for him, he never allowed himself to return the feeling.

Haweke began to see privateering as his true calling, though deep down inside he was merely running from responsibility. Still, the freedom he'd always fought for was now at his fingertips, and he made a name for himself. During this time he encountered a number of enemies, including the Cylons, the Goa'uld, and the PeaceKeepers. This all came to a forefront when he was kidnapped by the Goa'uld Thel, and subjected to a stolen technology known as "Twinning." This produced two identical Hawekes, each one whole and separate from one another, neither one a copy of the original, both having equal claim. However, one Haweke was subjected to the Ancient's Repository of Knowledge, in Thel's attempt to obtain the massive collection of Ancient weaponry through the use of a newtype mind; the other Haweke was left as a backup. While they were both rescued, the damage was done: the Haweke subjected to the Repository began to lose his mind. With the help of Zon Huntreas and the crew of the Explorer, Haweke was able to build a device that would keep the ANcient knowledge from unspooling inside his head- -during this event, a massive psychic backlash allowed the other Haweke to relive his life in an attempt to salvage the memories of his dying twin. Though the operation was successful, seeing his past laid out before him convinced the one Haweke to join the New Republic Navy to fight the Goa'uld. The other Haweke, the one with the Ancient Knowledge, stayed as a privateer.

However, this wasn't always to be. The Palindrome Haweke had a series of run-ins with a woman named Alexia, who claimed to be his illigitmate, cloned daughter. During one of these events Alexia invaded the planet Tatooine and threatened Haweke and his ship. A fierce battle between GWAM, her forces, and the Dread Conglomerate shook the Tatoo system. New Republic Forces did not make it in time, and both of Haweke's long-time and trusted wingmen, Apolly and Roberto, were shot down. In the end, though Haweke rallied the armies with his dying breath, he too was shot down. Though unbeknownst to many, he was actually shot down by a young teen named Zarr Karneval, who was also a cloned-genetic experiment 'son' of Haweke, in the same sense that Alexia was his 'daughter.' It seemed that even in death, his newtype persona came to haunt him.

The other Haweke, who joined the New Republic, continues to serve with distinction.

*((Most of the people who knew what Haweke looked like were at the colonies, so the new identity has a comfortable cushion of plausability, with only six or so people knowing he's still alive. So if you're going to up and become the seventh, better make it plausable before you run into the cantina and yell "Hey, Hit!"))
