[Delete] | Mel, Tym, Cru, and I were talking about this, and I think it's a cool idea. We did this when Ep3 came out and I think we should keep it up. The idea is to do RPs that take place outside of the normal CFC world. The one idea that we want to do first takes place during WWII. The idea would be about people fleeing the Nazis, and coming to a bar in a non-involved island or country to plan for thier next move. (Think Casablanca) Of course the Nazis find out about this little hidaway and are drawing nearer.
Another idea that we decided to save for later would take place in the 1920's in a Speakeasy. There's a large underground war going on between Mafia families, The G-Men, and eachother, with all our heroes caught in the middle of it.
Someone mentioned something about Pirates too, which would also be cool.
We'd still play out normal characters, but we'd change them to fit the scenario we are in.
So Ideas? Comments? Wanna shut it down? put it all here.

[Delete] | well, you all know already by the original thread that I tihnk its a good idea, but I think its super nifty that there is a realy good reason for W&H and Celsec to really sort of under-ground face off. lets face it, it doesnt get any more purley evil then nazis, which makes it perfect for W&H to help, and Celsec to try and bring down. It would be sort of like "What you didnt know was happening in the war" kind of underground secretive thing. Pluss, I tihnk bringing both small, and big historical references in to the RP should be really fun - ive always noticed that my favorite sort of films and books and the like are historical/ historical fiction any way.
I think we need to figure out together little things like what country this is going to take place in, maybe have some sort of time line, just so we dont go changing history - or not too much any way. I'm going to do a little research, and im sure that alot of you guys are pretty good historians -- why is it all my guy friends are history geeks? |

[Delete] | that could be interesting. I can't really remember what, if any, position the firm took during World War II. Obviously they still had their stuff entrenched in the USA, but...the only Buffyverse Nazi stuff I can remember is that the Nazi's had a secret batallion set to experiment and hopefully control vampires and demons. A rival USA Group known as "the Initiative' ended up recruting Angel (at crossbow point) to go and rescue the captured German U-Boat containing the German-captured vampires, which included Spike.
It wouldn't be too out of their power scheme to have backed both sides of the war, though... |
