Judging tempo, giving meaning to the motives of a character, developing plots, etc and what have you. We all spend so much time collaborating here, I thought it would be cool and fun to collaborate on something that could have a finished product that we could show to people. I've got a camera and know some actors, all we need are scripts with good ideas and that we can film on our budget. They also don't need to be feature-length; we could make good use of some short films. If anyone has a treatment (regular narrative outline of a movie usually in a few pages) they want to post, someone else could flesh it out into a whole script; or hell, if you just have a script you want to see made. Also, Ken, you need to get a hold of me for editing. I has ideas. One idea I have, is that we have access to cars (but can't film well while they're moving), can make costumes to some degree, have access to public lands in Seattle (so no place that looks uninhabited, only places with obvious traces of humanity- except maybe one forest), and can make sci-fi weaponry much more easily than conventional contemporary weapons. If someone has an idea for a story that fits those constraints, we can make some liquid visual awesome.   Gorny 5:24am, September 14, 2010 [Edit] [Delete] OH ALSO Kiri does an eerily awesome computer voice, if you can work in something with a female computer voice. It's meant to be one of those Syfy dogs they show at 1am on a Saturday: a seriously epic B movie. If you're interested, I can send you the treatment. :) This idea came to me in a dream a couple of years ago.
