*A young Andorian shan appears dressed to the nines on the screen.* Greetings. Tonight we turn our focus once again towards the Outer Rim territories of the SW-1138 Galxy, where it appears that a space station greatly resembling Olympus IV has appeared over the skies of the planet Tatooine.

Eyewitness reports from spacers in the area seem to indicate that this began with some type of spatial disturbance occurring over the planet.
*It cuts to video footage of a number of ships, mostly Imperial, some Harkonnen, one Predator vessel(!) and two Starfleet ships fleeing from a giant orange wormhole.* A number of starships began fleeing from this portal. Starfleet sources have confirmed that it appears to have been an unstable wormhole from a distant sector of the galaxy, though they have not yet released the stellar coordinates. Local forces are of the impression that this is the work of the cosmic entity known as the Phoenix; *it shows the, well, Phoenix doing it's big cosmic fire space wing bird thing in file footage, and then again during the wormhole event to highlight simularity.* As of yet, no species has confirmed who or what caused this event.

As the wormhole began to collapse, reports show that it's penumbra reached out and swallowed the remains of the Olympus IV station, which had been towed into orbit and was in the process of being rebuilt by the Atreides shipping company and forces within the Kilrathi Empire. After which it appears to have gone through some kind of molecular resynthesis, and was rebuilt as an entirely new space station.

*Footage comes up of the newly minted Olympus V. Cru can correct me if I'm wrong but there's no Ancient cityship on it's top, it's just...well Babylon Five, but with the name OLYMPUS V painted boldly on it's side, next to the flags of different races: Specifically "USAT, GWAM, The Federation, Even the klingon empire and the dolmineans"*

Starfleet vessels on site have taken to escorting this system. Any sign of the Atreides or Kilrathi forces are missing, and the station appears to be abandoned. The Federation has yet to make an official statement as to the legality of this station as a Starfleet outpost. Starfleet Command has released a statement where they state at this time their only intention is to safeguard and eventually board Olympus V to obtain clues as to the station's origin and purpose. "Starfleet's mission is to learn and explore," Admiral Zon Huntreas, former commanding officer of Olympus IV was quoted as saying, "And it is in that spirit which we approach this mysterious space station, whether as a gift, or a warning."

As for her mysterious station-wright, and creator of the wormhole, and possible Phoenix Force, the energy disipated shortly after the station's creation, as has the wormhole.

We will keep our viewers updated on any news which comes out of the Tatoo system in the next few days.

Breaking news tonight: Thousands dead after the System Lords attack Tatooine in an attempt to obtain Olympus V.

The attack began last night when a shipping convoy was pulled out of hyperspace some four light years away from Tatooine by a force of Jaffa belonging to the System Lord S'Tan. Two of the Starfleet vessels assigned to escort the mysterious Olympus V space station left to assist the convoy, at which point two Ha'tak motherships arrived in the solar system. While one opened fire in a surprise attack on the remaining two Starfleet vessels, crippling one, the other vessel--likely designed for infiltration-- swept in past local defenses and began to assault Mos Espa, after entering the atmosphere.

At this point, the Olympus V station began to active defenses of it's own. While there are still no confirmed life signs aboard the station, and no one has yet prepared a boarding party, it appears that there may be some type of artificial intelligence. High energy kinetic particle cannons and graviton weapons assisted the Starship Caelian in destroying the Ha'Tak mothership, at which point the System Lord S'Tan claimed to have annexed the system for High Lord Kyet and demanded the access codes to the station under the erroneous belief that it was a Starfleet weapon.

To further add to the confusion, another Ha'tak vessel which had been laying in wait in the asteroid field took this time to launch an attack on the Dolminean mining fleet over the gas giant Adrianne, in violation of the cease-fire that Prince Tazledorn Dolmineus negotiated with the System Lords two months ago. It is at this point that the Olympus V security system launched a series of satellites across the Tatoo system, which collected energy from the Binary Stars Tatoo I and Tatoo II and redirected them towards the Goa'uld vessels at both locations.

At this point the UEEF offered their assistance to Starfleet forces engaging the Goa'uld. *The Andorain pauses in confusion from the teleprompter, and frowns.* However...it appears that during the confusion, the UEEF Pioneer launched a series of atomic fusion weapons at the Ha'tak hovering over the skies of Mos Espa. We're told that the U.S.S. Artemis discovered this and attempted to intercept the missiles before they could damage the city, shooting down three, using their tractor beams to divert several more off course, and finally by extending the shield bubble of the starship over the settlement. In the end, however, the weapons did extreme damage to the city.

Admiral Rick Hunter of the UEEF immediately issued a statement that the missiles had not been fired on his order and that the criminal responsible for using weapons of such yield over a populated area was instantly discovered and has been arrested and taken into custody. The damage to the Goa'uld vessel was negligable. UEEF forces were later instrumental in finding the weak point of the Goa'uld's force shields, causing the enemy to reset their deflector grid long enough for the Pioneer to annihilate the ship with a blast from it's Reflex cannons.

Over the skies of Adrianne, it would appear that the Olympus V "Firefly Attack" of redirected solar energy had a larger effect on a ship in open space. The U.S.S. Caelian was able to intercept the mothership and divert it's attention from the central Dolminean mining vessel, and eventually sink the Ha'Tak with some type of overpowered phaser blast. The Dolmineans have yet to make a statement in regards to the loss of almost 85% of their forces stationed in the Tatoo system.

Between the System Lord's attacks and the collateral damage from the atomic weapons, the death toll in Mos Espa is unknown at this time. Before going dark once again, the Olympus V station utilized a suborbital tractor beam to divert much of the Ha'tak's debris into orbit, preventing the ship's wreckage from causing further damage. We have isolated reports of Jaffa soldiers still loyal to the System Lords attempting to hold isolated positions in Mos Espa.

Our reports do not indicate that System Lords S'tan or Kyet were directly present during these attacks.

As always we will keep you updated on further events regarding these extraordinary intergalactic upsets.
