They Destroyed the City of Mos Eisley Espa and give the general impression that anyone they consider weak is on their shitlist. A) In thier report on the DSE/CGSA Battle during Duchy Occupation of Tattoine, they reported mass losses of ships. The Gorn had crew casualties and the DCS Ushaptes were lost. That was it B) The Gorn Confederacy hasn't existed in sixty-eight years. It was replaced by the Gorn Empire in the rebellion of 679033 C.H.C., and then the Gorn Republic twenty-seven years ago. It has come to my attention that The Media Core has claimed that The Gorn Republic destroyed Mos Eisly. According to our records, the only metropolitan damage ever inflicted by a Gorn Vessel in the Tattoo system was Captain Slessh's renegade and unauthorized attack on Mos Espa. Also little noted is that the GRS Killhawk was present at the destruction of Slessh's ship, and assisted in ending Slessh's rampage. If these rumors persist, we will ask locals to help us find the people who would have our name tarnished so that they may face justice in CGSA Courts. All people who have spoken these rumors prior to this announcement are forgiven, but be warned that if they continue we will take jailing actions.  Jailing accusations? They have made many accusations, non of which I myself can confirm nor deny, but which appear to be untrue. Nevertheless they are an independant media source and furthermore are not of the CGSA, therefore they do not fall under CGSA laws. this includes those of the Gorn and of the Conglomerate. I ask Radio SSM Rak to halt their squabbling. The recent declaration of war by the CGSA was more than justified by DSE actions. DJ B: And also know that if anyone pursues to falsify information about the Gorn, here is a rundown of the Gorn Legal System: A) If there is physical evidence or more than three witnesses, the defender will have a trial. B) If they are not citizens of the Gorn Republic, they will be tried as Aliens and embassy to thier homeplanet will see to thier punishment. C) If no such embassy exists or the defender is not under the law of any established or recognized soverign state, they will be tried as "ignorant aliens" and have no punishment more severe than A Standard Year in a Middle Security Prison D) If the crime is violent and the defender would be otherwise an "ignorant alien", they will be tried as a full citizen. I will ask, however, that the Media Core cease all transmissions into sectors controlled by the CGSA. Your 'news' is unwanted and if you persist you will be in violation of Gorn Law 187-9.03: *reads from a PADD* 187-9.03: If any public transmission containing false information, opinions stated as facts, or alien propoganda is transmited to Republic citizens without Government Authorization, and without a licensed carrier band, they are held responsible for: A) Political Sabotage B) Destruction of Integrity C) Unauthorized Political Struggle If I hear of any more Media Core attacks on Gorn motives other than from a citizen of an Alien Soveriegnty, I will not be as forgiving. The majority of space battles are over areas of space. Space is infinate. Fighting over an infinate thing is fucking rediculous. 3 - If this was truely important, Starfleet or the Tatooine Civil Defence League would have gotten involved. Starfleet doesn't do a damn thing until half the planet is missing and the Civil Defence League has yet to prove they're worth anything at all. An action which could have easily been averted at the time by asking the DSE fleet for intellignece data they may have about what's going on deeper into the solar system. A battle both sides were warned to cool it or be smited... so to speak. You deny, that on ever ground based incounter with a member of the Gorn republic the member of the Gorn republic has treated the civilians of tatooine as hostile reguardless of friendly guestures or no guestures at all. On multiple occations has wield a weapon witht he intent of battery or assault under the apparent warranted claim of said religious believes. And let's not forget my personal favorite, kidnapping of civilian whom was claimed to be using a biological weapon against a Gorn Officer while no other civilians in the Cantina seem to have been effected by said biological agent. A apparent rogue officer of the Gorn who felt the erge to destroy an intire city, a city by the name of Mos Espa. Demenstrating the feelings of Gorn at large about the people of the Tatooine Sphere. Specifically, not the Tatooine Sphere. But anyone they feel is weak. Giving the general impression that unless we killed or handed a Gorn their ass in such away that demoralized them and everything around them, they always consider us weak. So, what do we learn from past experiences. If you don't like being accused of making specific actions. Don't make them. We'd hate to have another Tragolite Federation sitting next door to us feeling they can do whatever they want whenever. During the battle in question the Gorn fleet engaged the Duchy Fleet. Not, the DSE fleet. While the DSE conflicted with the DC fleet. (How do I know this, I looked it up in the logs. ) And I quote from an Unidenfied Gorn Vessels communications to DC : "[27-20:32] 6161b, Captain Oarlok Missai : *opens a signal to Lt-Cmmdr Avis* The weak must be defeated! The recent arguments about radio transmissions, however, seem to be pointless, and with the only effect of negative feelings on all sides. Therefore we ask all arguing parties (including, but not limited to, the Gorn and the Media Core) to cease and desist. *shrugs* maybe with the DSE and the Duchy both gone we can actually get some peaceful work in this area of space done.  ugh..
